Lies, lies and more lies. Save your money and run. Everything they tell you in the presentation (suppose to be 2 hrs. Ends up being 6) is a lie. After telling four people no and trying to leave they offered the sampler package. We explain that we did not book vacations months in advance.. The rep. Guaranteed this would not be an issue and even suggested we wait til the last minute. Our first time trying to use it and we were told there was no availability. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR DIAMOND RESORTS! I signed up for this Timeshare in 2017, and I still regret it every single day. They only give you 7 days total (not business) days to exit the timeshare, and under NO circumstances are can you sell the time share back to them. They will however, take it back without reimbursing you at all and resell it for thier own profit. We tried to exit on day 8 (would have been day 6 if it were business days due to an unforeseen medical emergency, they did not care. Not one of the representives I tal... read more

When trying to comply within the 7 day window they give you to exit the timeshare, I was passed around over the phone and emails for 2 months now. Nothing resolved. I am hiring a lawyer. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR DIAMOND RESORTS! Nightmare experience!

I really wish I would have done my homework before making the biggest mistake of my life! I have been a Monarch Grand Owner for 12 years and back in 2011, Diamond Resorts acquired Monarch after Monarch went bankrupt, hence my introduction to Diamond. For years Diamond has pressured, threatened and finally convinced me to purchase a timeshare directly through Diamond Resorts. There was no smaller rating to offer. Diamond resorts are full of criminal sales people. In November of last year My wife and I attended an owner update at the Polo Tower in Las Vegas Nevada. They start by telling you there are Important changes to tell owners! Let me start by telling you I had been forced to refinance my home to pay off the Gold membership I had spreading the cost over 30 years and I have never used all my points yearly, not close! Diamond Resorts is an organized scam. What they promise on the sales pitch is not what they deliver. What you are signing and agreeing to is not what you are going to get. After six hour presentation, crunching the numbers, going through every part of the form I am signing, asking every question possible, I get something completely different. I got completely ripped off. They even threw in a package that says READ BEFORE SIGNING in all bold caps. I was not presented with that packet.

On vacation in Virginia Beach at the Hyatt House. The "concierge" approached us in the lobby. Their business model is so obvious the moment you walk in their office. We told them "No" at least 15 times before we finally stood up, picked up the kids from the "fun center", and down the elevator. Yep, they make sure you cant just walk right outside. Didnt even bother asking for the tour tickets or my $32 back. I would pay 3 times the cost of the "free dolphin tour" they offered to avoid sitting through their "1 hour"...I mean "... read more

I have attempted to Make a reservation using your Xchange certificate. And I must say so far I have been unable to obtain any dates in Orlando which is my choice destination. I am extremely disappointed with the bouncing around from call center to call Center to get this resolved and all I heat is well sorry their is no availability. Yet when I called the resort the dates I'm looking to stay are available if I'm willing to pay cash. Not a very good impression. Diamond Resorts International was poised to rob us of $14,000, plus all their additional fees. Fortunately, my husband did a check regarding where we had stayed in Kauai, Hawaii, and investigated how many points it would take to stay a week as we had done in the past.
