Diamond Resorts is a real scam, they have there sales team pressure you into getting more points when you keep telling them no. I was all paid off and the sales staff spoke to me for an hour and a half, first the salesman then the manager and then another salesman pressuring me into buying extra points. I was so fed up with them and with all the pressure they put on you I just signed so I could get away from them which I should never have done. Wow...disgusting lying companies still exist these days?! How is this possible? Why isn't there an option for 0 stars as the minimum? My fiancé and I attended a Wine Festival and were unfortunately sucked into nothing, but lies from a sales rep named Susan Robertson (two four zero) 308-0718. We told her that the only way we were going on a vacation was if it were to be in Maui, Hawaii and about 10 nights consecutively. I would like assistance from someone at DR. I was told I would be given a free vacation after sitting through a 120 min presentation, that actually lasted well over that. The certificate now states I have to pay an activation fee on top of a reservation fee. I would be more than happy to do so however, from every review I have read there seems to be no openings available when we call to reserve. a complete scam. they offer free nights and then have nothing available period no matter what time frame in advance is provided. stay away!!! We will never do anything associated with this company as long as we live.

My wife and I were given a week by a family member at a Diamond Resort (Fairway Forest) in NC. The room was adequate but out-dated. Apparently they are planning to renovate many of the rooms in the days ahead. While there, we were asked several times about attending a free presentation where we could learn more about Diamond Resorts. I signed up for this, as I walked away my salesman had my fiance sign the contract as well. My fiance and I broke up. Months after when I went to go use the service for the first time, they told me that I can't use this unless she's present. I asked to have her removed as I'm the one paying and my credit was the one associated with the account. They told me I have to pay the entire loan amount first if I want to remove her. Run...run as fast as you can. We are owners that wished we could turn back the clock. You cannot get reservations at good resorts even with as much advice as possible. You can however go to a third party website such as bookings.com and purchase equivalent nights for much less than your annual Maintenace fees will be...without the $50,000 upfront. Making reservations at a desired location is impossible. We have even upgraded in the past at more $ in order to solve this problem...of course just another scam to get more $. I h... read more

I have just read 10-12 reviews and Diamond's verbatim responses of the Diamond experience and sadly I could have written portions of each and every one. The similarities in our experiences are appalling. We too were naively duped by well polished and persuasive sales staff (all of whom have left Diamond employment) and purchased points each vacation in the Hawaii Collection. We are Monarch Grand Vacation owners (which was purchased by Diamond Resorts).
