Rating is Zero stars to negative stars. Attended an owner update here in Phoenix last Sunday and they tried to get me to convert my fixed week to points and pay $14K. They showed me on paper that my week had no value and if I transitioned to points it would be worth $56K. They acted like I had missed notifications from Diamond even a certified letter advising me I needed to switch to points (The Club) and they would see if they could open that window for me to convert. The timeshare offer from Diamond Resorts is a terrible investment. It will sound great, but there is a reason they don't give a price for the package till the very end. Do not let them hard sell you into something you don't really want. Do the math and have the guts to say no. They are sales people who use tactics such as not disclosing all of the terms and information for what they want you to agree to. They also use empathy and attempt to persuade you in order to obtain your credit or debit card information in the hopes you get something in return. This is a scam that preys on people's emotion and lack of knowledge about their industry. I do not like Diamond Resorts for their lack of communication. My parents are retired and live on a fixed income. They have been Diamond Resort members for a very long time. Every single time they use this service to vacation they get cornered into "upgrading". They've upgraded twice already. Diamond Resorts are criminals and use every tactic they can to attack and get you to sign on the dotted line. Then when things change with your finances they will not help you at all. If it's possible I would give 0 stars. After being pressured decided to take one of their points program while on vacation. Did not get to read through contract before signing. Did not realize only had 10 days to get out of contract cause that was not highlighted. Was still on vacation when I got a chance to look at the contract was 12 days. We were promised in writing a sales presentation lasting XX-XXX minutes in return for a gift card. Our time in the preview center lasted over 155 minutes and we were treated badly by a guy named Mike when we complained about the lack of timeliness we had been promised. His reply was that by not buying we had cost them money!

I hate Diamond Resorts. The sales people are deceptive and don't take no for an answer. We rarely get to use ours because when we actually have the time and can afford to get away, there is nothing available for us to use our points.
