JC Penny's is a terrible store to do appliance business with. I had a Samsung dishwasher for three months, it started leaking on a Thursday, had to wait until Tuesday for a repairman. He came out and said the installation was done wrong and I had to call JC Penny's to re-install because he didn't have the part! Penny's customer service NEVER answers! I called the salesman, a great young guy, and he got GE to re-install on the next Saturday!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I bought from Penny's!!!

On 12/18/2107 I ordered a set of blinds. I received all of them and installed them. Within less that 2 weeks one of them failed. This is where the horror begins. I place a call to customer service and was on hold for well over an hour. When I finally get someone on the phone, she informs me that she has to contact another department and have them call me back later that day. After 3 days of waiting, I call back. THIS PAST WEEKEND I WAS AT JC PENNY, IN HARLINGEN TX, INSIDE THE LA PLAZA MALL. I WENT INTO SEPHORA, AND ONE OF THE DRAWERS THAT HOLD THE EXTRA MAKEUP IN BOTTOM OF SHELVES WAS OUT, I TRIP AND CUT OPEN MY LEG. THE SALES LADY QUICKLY SAID OH MY GOSH THAT DRAWER IS BROKEN AND KEEPS POPPING OPEN, SHE GOT TAPE AND WAS TAPING IT SO IT WONT OPEN AGAIN. I CONTACTED STORE MANAGER AND STILL NOTHING WAS DONE. I refused a package and sent it back. They claim they never received it. They refused a refund for $99.01. So I have to pay for something I returned to the company. I cancelled my account and will never enter a JC Penny store as long as I live. This company seems to be corrupted and dishonest to their customers. Don't ever order anything from JC Penny they'll screw you over good if you want to return anything.

NEVER buy furniture from JC Penney!! Clothes purchases are fine. Terrible experience re on-line purchase of a sofa on 11/11/17. Went to store, then ordered the model, color that they told me they have always available on-line. Was told it could take 4 - 5 weeks but no more. Started to check in December. When tracking my order it shows that it was completed! I never heard anything and started to call, first time on 12/7. Was connected after almost an hour of holding. do not buy from jcp.com. ordered furniture on 11-20-17 and it did not ship until 12-11-17 then the order got lost so i cancelled order on 12-19-17 and still have not got a refund. every time i call they say to give it a few more days. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered numerous items on Monday December 18th for delivery before Xmas. The website promised delivery between Dec. 21st-Dec. 23rd, which is why I purchased the items. I received an email from JCPenney that my items didn't ship until Dec. 21st- 3 days later! tracked my package and saw that it had arrived in Buffalo, NY (1 1/2 hours away) just before 4:00 a.m. on Saturday the 23rd- the day I was supposed to receive my packages here in Rochester. JCP please see the below IM chat conversation that I have had with your customer service reps on Fri 12/22 and this morning 12/23. My issue is that I woke up to an email and text message from JCP at 5:46 AM EST notifying me that some of my original on-line order that was placed on 12/15 had been cancelled. I was in search for drapes for my home and my of my colleagues suggested I go with JC Penny because she had bought her drapes and she did not have any issues. Well that was not the case for me. I went to JC Penny and paid to have somebody from the store to measure my curtains, I then ordered my drapes.
