Ordered a sofa for our son in Feb at a GREAT price and we paid the delivery charge. On April 19 received a refund for the sofa with no explanation. We purchased the sofa based on the ADVERTISED price and promised (expected) delivery. Numerous written and follow-up inquiries were made by us concerning delivery. JC Penney assured us sofa would be delivered based on their communications with the manufacturer. I recently ordered shirts at JC Penney through JC Penney's website using their one-day online in-store pick-up option. After placing my order, the order time for online in-store pick-up eventually passed and I was FORCED to go to the actual location to ask what was going on since no one at the customer pick-up area answered the phone when I called them concerning this issue. I came to file a complaint but seeing the numerous complaints listed, it'll be a waste of my time. I spent countless hours placing multiple large orders online. Three of those orders vanished, with one appearing in the system while on the phone. The other two were supposedly lost in transit but due to be delivered today. We ordered cellular shades from them a month and half ago. When the shades were delivered to our house, I called the store to schedule the installation. I was told the installation was going to be done by another company belongs to JCPenney based in Texas and they could only put in my request through the system because they were not allowed to call that company directly. I ordered several items to be shipped to my local store. One of those items actually showed up, even though it said all items were available for pick up. I spent the next 40 MINUTES!!! in the store trying to resolve the issue. The store was closed, and the manager had to unlock the door to let me out by the time it was resolved. I believe when you run a promotion, stick to it ,I purchased a item that was supposed to come with a rebate I mailed it out no response when I look into rebate status it says my upc does not match I have emailed several times asking for my receipt and upc back to where I can get my money back at the store and same generic response we will be in contact with in 7 days and still nothing

A while back, I ordered some clothes from JcPenney. When I took the clothes out of the package, I noticed one of them was missing. At the bottom of the box, I found a message saying it was out of stock. I double-checked my email to see if I had missed a cancellation email. Nothing.
