I ordered through J C Penney appliance department and received a washer / dryer combination which was not the one I requested; the Supervisor who sold it to me never went over the features of the washer dryer and never confirmed the order by again pointing or showing me the washer dryer combination I wanted; going by product number and price was not sufficient for me to know what I was getting and I felt like the employee just wanted to rush me out by making a sale. Worst customer service experience ever. My husband used the wrong card for an online order and called to change his payment method. Call center worker refused to help him. He asked for a manager. Manager refused to help him. He asked for the managers boss and that person refused to help him. He didn't even want to cancel his order, just change the card. Since I worked for JCPenny back in 2005-2008 I know that they could easily have helped him change his payment method as I did that with customers all the time. They just didn... read more

I bought a package of boxers ($29.00) on Black Friday. It was buy one get one free. They only sent the one package amd refised tp send the free one.. I called and the customer service person was very rude and told me if I wanted another package I would have to buy it. I will never order anything from them again. I am a senior citizen and I can't afford to be ripped off by this company.

Good morning, On November 19th 2017, JCPENNY put ONLINE ADS for Black Friday Deals which can be seen in the attached Pictures, I ordered 4 Rings, $10.00 per Ring, I made online payment and they even sent me the Receipts but last Friday got emails from them that the orders have been cancelled. I tried to call their Corporate Office in Planto, TX but they kept me on hold for over 30 minutes and finally one of their Supervisors turned me down in a very unprofessional manner, she tried to Bully me and hanged up the phone. This Company is just awful with Customer Service how they are still even running a Business if you even want to call it that is beyond me. The Billing/Collection have no idea what they are doing I spent over an hour on the phone while at work just trying to see if they sent out a dispute letter to take off two late payments from my Credit Report because I'm trying to clean it up to buy my first house it was such an ordeal that I had to talk too four different people one of the people being from the Corporate Office just to t... read more

ZERO STARS. ZERO. I placed an order on the 5th and in the email was told it was expected to be delivered on the 15th. No shipment until Friday the 10th. I called annoyed because some of the items were bday gifts that I needed for that week and was told "the items should have shipped out on Tuesday because we usually ship within 2 business days." This company sent me an item I did not order. I have to wait 60 minutes on the phone to get a returm lable and another 15 minutes for them to tell me that yes they would send out the correct item if I pay for it again? Why should I have to wait for my card to be debited for a mistake they made. Cant they track what they sent me?
