JCP reneged on a BOGO recliner advertisement. They also delivered damaged furniture. They were unwilling to resolve this problem. They also tried to charge me a restocking fee. BOGO means exactly that. Rude dismissive customer service. And tried to bill me for a return that i should not be billed for. Somebody had to start a class action suit against JCP for deceptive business practices.
i purchase a dishwasher on 09/03/17 form JC PENNEY, First deliver late and dishwasher was damaged. 2nd refuse to install said need to see plumber. plumber said nothing wrong. 3rd time another damage dishwasher and JCN Penney refuse refund. I had to call credit card for chargeback. they were extremely rude and no one apologize. I will never shop JC Penney again!!!!@ Also will never buy another GE appliance .
We bought furniture from JCP on September 27. Order # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. We have been having an awful time with getting it delivered. I went online to track the furniture after I received an email on September 29 that said the furniture was ready to ship and the mattress and box spring would ship separately. Placed an online order and after it did not arrive by the due date, called customer service to find out that the had been cancelled. They did not know why! The order was placed again and, you guessed it, cancelled for a second time. Again, they did not know why. Stayed on the phone for 45 minutes waiting for some explanation or a way to get my merchandise. I was finally told that the merchandise was out of stock. I bought four pieces of new Samsung appliances through JCPenney back in July 2017. Overall, it was a terrible experience! The combo of JCPenney, Samsung and the delivery company are meant to partner to deceive consumers and none of them will assume any responsibility for their mistakes and inconveniences they caused. When there is a problem with your order, they are really good at kicking you like a soccer ball among them and at the end you would end up with frustration and distrust. NOT impressed with JCPenney customer service. After waiting almost two weeks AFTER the estimated delivery date, I finally called customer service and was place on hold for almost an hour. The actual process of canceling my order was smooth, until I found out two days after that call, my canceled order is JUST NOW being shipped. Would give zero stars if I could. Going to have to call again and see what the issue is, I refuse to pay for the order after I've already canceled it.

On 7/XXXXX, I went into JC Penney furniture store in pleasant hill, ca and purchased a dining table with 4 chairs. I was told delivery would be within 2 weeks. After many calls and run a rounds, which got me nowhere, I received a robot call the end of August that my furniture was going to deliver. No return number was left. We purchased a bundle deal on Samsung appliances for our kitchen and was promised two rebates, one from Samsung and one from JC Penneys. We bought them on June 25th. At first, we were told the rebates would be $300 each, later, it was corrected, that it would be $200 each.
