We ordered 2 blackout shades (mirage-cellular) a year ago. One is fine, the other has a chord snapped on the inside of the shade. They have hung up on us, directed us to the manufacturer (who directed us back to JC Penney), and told us we are out of luck; however we have a lifetime warranty on the shade. I now understand why they are filing for bankruptcy and closing stores.
I bought a white gold diamond necklace around the holidays (400.00). I gently wore it a few times and the chain broke and the pendent was lost. There is no reason that the chain should have broken and I feel that should receive another necklace or be reimbursed.
I'm writing this review because I was greatly helped by Vernon (XXX-XXX) from JCP. I bought a set of washer and dryer from JCP two months ago. Upon arrival, the washer was not functioning normally. It would not spin, always beeped, Or spin like crazy. I called JCP and Samsung (the manufacture) back and forth for many times. At last, Samsung diagnosed it was an installation or water hose issue. Against my better judgement (read a lot of negative reviews about the store), I ordered a recliner online. Two days later, I checked my bank account and see that I have two pending authorizations for the amount. I was unsure why, so I called the 800 number and spoke with Asia who told me that these are only pending and JCPenny had not taken any money from me and I should contact PayPal.
