JC PENNY I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE CONCERNS/PROBLEMS WITH JC PENNY.COM. AND THE PHYSICAL STORE AT SANDHILLS. Purchase a mattress set from Penney this was the worse night mare i could ever live. purchased mattress and box spring but the sales person only order the mattress. The delivery company could not careless weather you get your delivery or not. They call to set up delivery in the middle of the week 4 hours segment and they only deliver to my area one day a week. I purchased all the appliances for my new home through our local JCPenney in February. The in store experience was great with a knowledgable staff that wasn't too pushy, and the prices couldn't be beat, however, that's the end of the good. I was initially scheduled delivery for mid April, as the date approached it had to be rescheduled due to 2 of the items being backordered (how an item I had already been charged for could be backordered is beyond me). Orderd new stove and microwave for 2nd home in MSP, MN. Already had gas line installed and permits and valve in place. The ONLY thing I asked is "delivery and install be same day"! I did not care what day ... just be the same day. JCP delivered stove and took away old stove then could not get anyone out to do install for 3 whole **** days!!!! ordered towels for a mother's day present, was shorted, called in and was promised they would be over nighted to me so i would have them before mother's day. get a notice will be here on Monday, day after mother's day. called and spoke to 4 different supervisors and did not get this resolved and was finally given a pitiful $5 credit. what a joke!!! apparently you cannot trust this company to do what they say they will do, customer service is non existent with JC Penny. they should have refunded the whole amount of the 2 towe... read more

I use to rave about the furniture section in Jc Penny. Great customer service good quality items that last a generation or two if treated well. Though I must say on our last purchase we were sort of disappointed. We did three different transactions to purchase a whole bedroom set on a budget. The dresser arrived great. The delivery people were pleasant, kind manners... They asked where to set it up and I showed them where the bedroom was. They set it up and took away the garbage. The night stand was ordered next. I know its been a number of years that a heart shape pendant and chain was purchased as a gift for me from my husband from JCP in Gainesville fla. possibly 9 yrs. opened my jewelry box and found the diamond chips missing (obviously they fell out) the gold trim has all turned brown, cost over $200.00 . disgusting, I have gold jewelry from my grandmother and mother-in-law that is still in perfect condition. What gives, I think the item was worn 6 times, the chain also has turned brown. I will never purchase jewelry there again... read more

First off, I would like to say that shopping in our local stores is a pleasure! I have no problems there. It's when I order merchandise online that I have had numerous problems with my orders being cancelled when I have seen the product in the stores! On 3/31/2018, I placed 3 orders to pick up at the store closest to my work in Hoover, AL. By 4/2/2018 all 3 were cancelled (and not by me). I wish I would've come to this site prior to ordering curtains. I know Penney's isn't the best department store, but they had well reviewed curtains and they seemed to be a good ***** and quality(though they lowered the price two days later and refused to give me the additional discount because of some **** ******** policy that is so convoluted and silly I won't waste any more time on it) .
