How can I do a product return when the only way to do it is to call the 800# or go into the store. Wait times are horrendously high for the 800# and all our local stores are closed for 2.5 months due to covid 19. WTF?! Why the **** does JcPenny not offer a digital offer for online returns? It'd be a **** of a lot easier.

We ordered a bed on Black Friday 2019 and did not receive the bed until Feb 2020. When we did it was broken. We were extremely patient and even suggested that JCPenney allow us to choose another bed since they were having such a hard time getting it together but they refused. I have never left a review on BBB but this was just absolutely unacceptable. I truly hope this company goes out of business!! The worst customer service. Made online order and paid for 3 day shipping. According to the website, I was going to receive items before my children's event. The item is now being shipped 8 days later. Their online shipping information is inaccurate. I got an invalid UPC barcode message and never received my rebate. I contacted jcpenney and the rebate center and they refused to budge on my rebate status. They were extremely rude and kept telling me that I bought the wrong items, even though the item numbers that I purchased were exactly the ones on the corresponding rebate form. Worst rebate experience of my life. At least I submitted my rebate online so I can take my items back to the store with my UPC code intact. This deal was definitely a scam. I placed an order online on 12/16 and paid for premium shipping so it could be here by 12/20 which would have been perfect timing! However my package wasn't processed until 3 days later and the delivery date changed to 12/24!! Whaaat?! Are you serious? I'm furious at this point! I have been a loyal JC Penney customer for many years. I placed an order on-line but forgot to add an item which would have cost me a shipping and handling fee. Worst customer service & online order experience. I ordered a pair of earnings and 5 necklaces on 12/1/19 that were to be Christmas gifts. Absolutely the WORST experience for a second year in a row!! Waited 90+ minutes past appointment time for pictures even after showing up 45 min early and being turned away and assured that there would be no wait beyond our appointment time. After being a customer for 12 years we will NEVER be back.

I ordered boots and a string of Led lights, both listed as in stock on the website, the boots were cancelled because the store didn't have my size. I ordered them again from another store and a second pair for my mom the same thing happened again. I had to go into the second store to pick up the one pair of boots they had.
