How is it that the BBB rates Indiegogo as A+ but the customer reviews average 1 star? Perhaps the BBB should use customer reviews in the calculation of the rating. Anyway, I backed an Indiegogo campaign for $1406 on April 26. The e-mail receipt from Indiegogo stated: "You may request a full refund from Indiegogo until May 6, 2020." Indiegogo promotes fraud. At its beginning stages I supported the platform but they did nothing to support my fraud complaints. This platform needs to be shut down.
Indiegogo provides no customer service, other than repeating that supporting a campaign "is not shopping" and there is no guarantee that you will receive promised perks. Obviously, some campaigns will not achieve their aspirations. However, what happens when a campaign is collecting over a million dollars in contributions with no intention of ever delivering the perk/product? Horrible company. We consumers are not interested in investing in startup companies. We are interested in buying newly innovated products. I paid and lost $205.00 , the same as over a thousand people gave to HD MASK. Read the comments from dis-satisfied customers that have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and Indiegogo, has done nothing, except set up a worthless website. Supported and backed a campaigner "solarbox lumin" previous product was great, but this campaigner has been ghosting us this last year and 2 years behind on the delivery. The only thing Indiegogo offer is for you to contact campaigner, which you cannot do as they have never been contactable. There is zero help from indigogo and it's just a front for people to get your hard earned money and indigogo claim the slice

This company is a total scam. They operate under several business names. If the BBB has provided this company a good rating, the BBB is also a scam!!! I purchased a dash cam from them at a price of $49. The wrong dash cam was delivered which I returned at my cost of $17. i EMAILED THEM SEVERAL TIMES WITH COMPLAINTS AND NEVER DID THEY RESPOND. THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT UNDER US LAW.
