I backed a campaign called "Eon Scooter" where I paid close to $800 total for a scooter that was basically a huge con. The campaign appeared to be backed by (what seemed, at the time) legit investment and was based in San Fransisco. Eon Scooters then devolved into getting rid of the simple 3 scooter options that were initially available, and started offering piecemeal upgrades, in order to generate more money (which they did). This platform helped fraudsters to claim over 4.4M dollars for nothing... No proof of seriously done. No actions. Dump IGG... Just taking a fee for nothing. Their "trust" team is garbage & doesn't respond in critical cases...

Worst customer service ever do not back campaigns even when they say you can get 100% refunds total lies even when I tried several times before campaign cutoff. I will never use this site ever again!

Completely scammed me for a ipad keyboard, never came, ordered over a year ago, they collected 300k . If you want to give people money for nothing in return then please be my guest. Never again.

Indiegogo waited until the end of my 6 week campaign to decide I was not following their terms of use. They proceeded to removed access to my account, send money back to all my backers, and never sent me any kind of notice. I can only guess why they think I did not meet their terms. I found out when one of my satisifed backers sent me a message saying Indiegogo was returning the money they sent because I did not meet their terms of use. Like so many others I was scammed out of money on Indiegogo. The most troubling part is that Indiegogo does absolutely nothing when their campaigns do not deliver. I very quickly realized their customer support is non-existent, it is IMPOSSIBLE to interact in any way with a human being. They do not care if their campaigns never deliver and the campaigners disappear with the money. If you're reading this please think twice about giving them your money.

They refuse to delete your old campaigns after you raise money. They continue to use your information on their site long after you end the campaign. Customer service is awful, no agent at a phone number and no chat and you get the same nearly automated response from their agents when asking to edit and delete old information from their site. Do not go through these people to raise money. It isn't worth it. Work with real philanthropic organizations or platforms that actually care and aren't looking to use people.

It's been over a year since I contributed to the "AirSelfie" Indiegogo campaign, and I still haven't received my product. The last communication was on July 9, 2020 and even though the communication said in August they were moving into wholesale business, there is no mention of fulfilling obligations to us backers who put US$89 down for what? Nothing. No response from the backers. There is also another Indiegogo campaign which I have backed, NOIR Security Camera, and no communciation. No product. Nothing for my US$115. Indie... read more

Worst platform imaginable. They only send canned replies to any complaints and refuse to refund for products never delivered.
