We are drafting our campaign for a social enterprise that offers free recycling and I had a technical question. Toni at customer support did not understand our business model and decided our campaign wasn’t eligible. She said I would not get access to any funds raised. Three campaigns supported, three NO-SHOW for products. KUDOS to the scamming companies and their helper, INDIEGOGO... you guys are awesome. What do they call this, victim-less crimes since no one got hurt??? CLASSIC... AT LEAST with *********** I get my products.
They took out money to years ago and, to date, we've received absolutely nothing--not even responded to our emails. Fortunately, Indieggo only screwed us once and we've been sure to let people know to stay away. If you want to invest in a start-up's product, go with Kickstart, because Kickstart is legitimate and won't scam you and top you off like Indieggo.
Customer support is NON EXISTENT. Our fundraising campaign just ended. We raised 150% of our goal with donations from our friends and family. Indiegogo is stating that they cannot verify our identity to disperse funds and to follow the instructions to do so. There are NO instructions. There is NO place to upload or add anything. We have asked MULTIPLE times over the last 6 days and have gotten nowhere. OUR money from OUR friends and family is being held by an unresponsive company with no other way to reach them.
They are actively supporting scammers by doing nothing. If they support scammers, they are scammers. They need to take action or be shutdown.

Trash crowdfunding company that says perks are not guaranteed....... Kickstarter isn’t great but at least seems to deal with reputable companies that when they decide not to deliver refund your money...... Avoid Indiegogo at all costs and speak with your money. Here’s hoping they’re a footnote in history since they don’t care about fraud or scams happening on their platform.
I placed an order for volterman on 30th July 2017. Now it's October 2019. But neither Indiegogo or Volterman has any intention of sending the wallet or giving my money back. They keep pushing the date of delivery ever since I paid, there's no estimated time frame. Support filled with liars. They are both scammers. Beware! before you give your money to this company. I have already filed an FTC complaint. With all the proof and record of the past 2 years of conversation.
