Indiegogo is just a scam website. Products didn't arrive. Unable to reach the campaigner. No refund policy. No customer service. Even people complaints about fraud, Indiegogo still allows campaigner to collect money. Do NOT NEVER invest in any Indiegogo campaign. I start to wonder if BBB is credible by giving scammers an A+ rating.
I paid over $65 to a campaign, they were over a year and a half late and then they cancelled. I asked for a refund the day I got the message and the Indiegogo worker could not find my information. I then tried again to get my refund and now I’m being told I’m past the date to request. I’m absolutely disgusted and now seeing they have a 1star customer rating on BBB yet BBB gives them A+? Wonder if there’s kickbacks involved?
Indiegogo does no validation on people/companies who start campaigns. They allow anyone to start something, and have no way to refund money when scams make it to the consumer. DO NOT use this site. Kickstarter**** is much better about vetting potential projects, and have cancelled many due to dubious practices that have then migrated over to indiegogo.
This website is a fraud. The product will never be shipped. No customer service. I do not know how this website is legal.
I was scammed by an Indiegogo campaign that collected my money, promising a product that was never delivered, and refused to refund my money. Indiegogo would not help me get a refund, even though it became clear that they had continued to allow this particular scammer to continue to collect money from people like me well after they had received multiple complaints. I would NEVER invest in any Indiegogo campaign again in the future. I do not see how Indiegogo can have an A+ rating.
Indiegogo is complicit in scams that it’s users run as campaigns. When requesting refunds they deny them, while also refusing to investigate known fraud campaigns.
Indiegogo does not help it's customers when issues arise. I "contributed" to a campaign last year that was supposed to deliver the Sonic Soak in July. It's February, and NOTHING. I ask Indiegogo to help me multiple times and nothing... The best they offered me was 50% refund. Why 50%? You take a customer's money, deliver no product, no explanation, and when forced, you offer 50% refund? I understand the concept of your company, but you have to deliver SOMETHING! Will never contribute to another product again. GARBAGE.
IndieGoGo supports scams and their customer service is non-existent. Beware!
They get their cut of pledge money then leave you hanging. When the scam shows it’s ugly head they toss you off and say “contact merchant directly” Another company just sucking off the money of people who believe in others.
