Indiegogo Campaign Scam Summary Indiegogo platform enables and markets crooked campaigners on their site with no verification. These fraudsters develop fake product marketing materials which appears authentic with no intentions to deliver you product which Indiegogo must have worked with laywers to call them "perks" instead of "products". do not support any projects, your at the mercy of the campaigner with full control. Indiegogo will not and cannot intervene with any support or refund if they campaigner decides to go running. Support at your own risk!!!
I've had a terrible experience with Indiegogo, the crowd fund sourcing company based out of San Francisco. Along with tens of thousands of others in 2015 I funded the Eon Electric Scooter, which raised $1.58 million dollars promising a high performance (35 mph) electric scooter to be delivered in March of 2016. Hello. I purchased an item called IronWire2 from Indiegogo, and on this date, January 13, 2019 still have not received my item. I reached out to Indiegogo back in November 14th, asking where my product was. At that time, ****** in "Indiegogo Customer Happiness" contacted me and tells me that I was responsible for staying in touch with the campaigner. Indiegogo does not care about the backers. It needs commission, never enquire about scammers. I invested almost 1000 dollars for two peojects. It seems those two projects are running by scammers. Everybody complained indeigogo but it's a waste of time. Indiegogo never take against the scammers. In future I will not invest anymore. No customer service and backers protection from it. I hate Indiegogo, its a worst company.
FUNDED A MINI COMPUTER THROUGH INDEGOGO WITH LEO AT THE HELM, NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT THAT WAS PROMISED IN AUG 2018, YET THE WEBSITE STILL ALLOWS LEO TO COLLECT MONEY SO INDEGOGO CAN GET THEIR CUT OF THE PERCENTAGE. SCAM SITE .... INVESTORS BEWARE.
