Shame on Indiegogo! They allow frauds and scam artists to steal hundreds of dollars from people, hide behind their privacy policies, and leave the crowds who support their crowdfunding platform as unrepresented victims of these frauds and scams. Make this clear - Indiegogo is the platform where these scams and frauds are made easier to conduct. They owe everyone who has been taken advantage of transparency and corrective active.

If I could give them a 0 Stars I would. So far nothing but dissapointment 2 out of 3 projects backed have been nothing but scams and indiegogo does nothing to help their users.

They let people run campaigns that scam people out of hundreds of dollars and can only say it is not there problem.

Not good business. Never refunded my money. Now my debit card is expired and I may never get my money back. No one is going to wait 2-5 years for a product, when the same product advertised, another product the same or similar comes out on the market. That was my first time ever hearing of Indiegogo and purchasing a product from them back in 2018. After purchasing the product, I called my credit union, and the representative said they are good business and to wait, but it has been almost two years now.

I learned a valuable lesson on how to wisely research into a company before spending hundreds of dollars willy nilly on something. Indiegogo is probably the absolute worst place for backers to donate money to a campaign. If the campaigner is a slimy cheeseball, you get literally no help from indiegogo whatsoever. I've sent two requests to them regarding one of the campaigns i donated to breaking IGG TOS, and they never responded. Stay aqay from this website.

Shocking that BBB gives this scam an A+! I’ve bought three items - two were ridiculously beyond the time promised, the third (and most expensive) still hasn’t shown up. Yes, I’m a slow learner sigh. Never again! You want to help budding companies, but Indiegogo is happy getting their percentage and taking no responsibility. Read the reviews. Thousands like me have lost hundreds of dollars on promised products. They won’t give you your money back even if the product is months or years late.

just like the rest of the reviews here, i got scammed on Indiegogo, without them taking any responsibility or even communicate to backers on a scam crowdfunding project on their website. why? because they can. no one reads 5 pages long EULA regarding their so called "responsibility" of the scam project they advertise on their website. As long as they get their share, who cares.

"WARNING!" Indiegogo is a scam, do not participate in any of their advertised campaigns. Indiegogo do not constantly update a security background check of all of their campaign participants if they are fraud or are still legit, active and legal in spite of suspicious changes and customers complaints. After supporting a crowdfunding effort with a $500 purchase, the campaigner never delivered on product and refused to answer any correspondance. Indiegogo washes their hands of issues and says that everything must be handled with the campaigner, but if the campaigner refuses to respond you're just out of luck. Worst part is Indiegogo still has the fraudulent campaigner posted on their website. You reach out to Indiegogo, they simply just send terms and conditions basically stating not their problem.
