Review This company steals and doesn't protect the backers. They support campaigners who ignore the people paying the money. Its a scam of a company supporting other scammers. I wish I had read all these reviews about Indiegogo first! The product I bought that never got delivered was the HALO BACK. Delay after delay 11 months and counting and now the product is outdated based on the new iPhone 8. Repeated emails to both Indiegogo and Halo Back without any response. I'm just adding my voice to all the other reviewers. Indigogo is operating with impunity as a site for scam artists and fraudsters. They no longer answer their phone nor do they reply to emails. Tens of thousands of people have been scammed out of millions of dollars. The complaints on so many sites are mounting, The anger people feel is so sad. Indiegogo has a deceptive way of profiting off of people as they design their campaign templates to appear as if you are indeed "purchasing" a perk, and it's my understanding you can't post any questions to the campaigner, until AFTER you have made a "contribution," and at that point they both have your money regardless of what happens. What's worse is that in my case it was shown that the "campaigner" was in NY, but all correspondence regarding the "delivery" of my "perk" (sent out supposedly almost 2 months ago yet repeate... read more

Indiegogo allows campaign contributors to be ripped off. Sent $223 for SpineGym July 2016 with promised delivery date Nov 2016. No product exists. Timo (campaign owner) stole $1.8 MILLION. He has erased his Facebook presence after posting about his Italian vacation! He has blocked alk Indiegogo email links and does nit respond to messages. 5000 contributors ripped off with no support from Indiegogo. Reported to CA Attorney General and FBI INTERNET FRAUD DIVISION. INDIEGOGO ALLOWS FRAUD TO OCCUR.

Hi i want everyone to know that Indiegogo supports fraudulent companies. I order a product from Mirahome and they never shipped or returned my money. It has been almost 1 year and a few months since i purchased the product and all the company has done is promise a refund over PayPal or wire transfer. Once the information is sent they never give any refund, this has been going on for several months now. I just want action taken against both companies and get my refund. THIS IS A SCAM

I backed a campaign with Indiegogo. The product was never produced (told technically impossible) but I have never received a refund. Indiegogo says to contact the campaigner who does not respond but Indiegogo continues to advertise the campaigners product, ie, people can still back a non existent product. well where do i even start. first off, i had a multitude of questions when i first began our campaign- as it was my first time doing this. there is NO customer service to answer your questions, other than online. no phone support whatsoever. this was really bad. I had backers (donators) asking me all kinds of questions and they wanted answers. i waited and waited for IndGOgo to get back to me online. The Indiegogo business model is very unfair to the campaign backers. I have been waiting for more than 2 years, the product kept delayed. Moreover, when I tried to contact the campaigner directly to update my address, they never respond. Indiegogo cannot do anything because the campaigner marked mine as "Fulfilled." Fullfileld doesn't necessarily mean it's shipped, it just means that "Indiegogo won't do anything if the campaigner refuse to respond or ship the product." Stay away from this company.
