I ordered many products in a short time and have lot of trouble to pay some of the products, so I tried different payment methods. The support of Indiegogo was no help, so I tried it again and again, Also I change my Mail adress in the Indiegogo account because I wan´t use my business adress and not my private one. This review is for a rechargeable water bottle through Moikit - Seed Bottle. Indiegogo collect your money, but they pull out from the responsibility when the campaign is transferred to the campaigner. The campaigner doesn't even communicate, especially when you request a refund. I requested a refund since December 6, 2016 and it's now January 31, 2017, still no refund. I have contributed to multiple campaigns. Some of them never delivered. I'm okay with new entrepreneurs having difficulty producing or manufacturing a product. However, there is a high profile campaign (Moonwalker shoes) that netted a LOT of money from contributors and Indiegogo has done nothing about the outrageous scam that it is. I am at peace with never seeing my money again but I am appalled that the campaign continues to send out fraudulent updates and Indiegogo has done nothing to address it.
Worst experience I ever had with crowdfunding. 2 months ago I did multiple donations to support a 2 campaigns on Generosity (Part of Indiegogo) and for some reason that is not communicated with donors, they suspended the 2 campaigns. Over a month, I have been sending tickets asking about the status of my donation and even asking for a refund with no response at all. Out of all the donations I did, I got a refund for only 1.5%! I'm absolutely appalled at this company that essentially functions as a robot. It is impossible to reach anyone for customer support and their help tickets go unanswered for weeks. This is maddening, considering that they have over $10,000 in donor funds they have not released to our nonprofit organization. I will NEVER use them again and would never recommend anyone else to use this "service"
I placed an order for Clearly Canadian in May of 2015 (I made two transactions for two different orders). Now, years later I have yet to receive my product. Instead, one order (the I sent to a friend) has been shipped, and she is also receiving a second case. Me: I have not received an update or a case. Instead, when I contact the company I get the run around and from Indie Go Go I get silence.

I have two orders/cotributions in for and 8 months for an Ivee and TapTrap. The sites keep putting out updates, big deal! Where the hell are my perks? Completely tired and frustrated!

I was a contributor to one of their promoted campaigns - the sProjector. I invested over $200. Campaign backers received their last update from the project over 6 months ago. This is apparently a scam, and over 3,200 contributors to this campaign which netted the project a total sum of $605,452 for the scammers, are apparently not going to receive the product they backed, nor are any of us getting our money back. I purchased a Furbo dog treat dispenser from this site. They quickly took the money out of my paypal account though the product was not available and would not be shipped for months. I tried contacting the campaign owner several times to cancel the order and request a refund. I did not receive a response. I opened a dispute through paypal and Indiegogo is refusing to return the money. I now have to wait one more business day before I can escalate the case to paypal in hopes that paypal will step in and assist with refunding ... read more
