I realize that some campaigns may not pan out. That's expected, but when a campaign does not deliver and offers no explanations for over two months, you'd expect Indiegogo to step in and investigate or at the very least to the campaign from collecting further contributions so more people don't get ripped off. Furthermore, Indiegogo doesn't responds to questions about the campaign. I will never gain use Indiegogo.

I have backed a few small things from this site and always got my perk. Then I backed a phone cord that looked like a good idea and the perk gave me a few for myself. The company producing the cord has sent several messages to me telling me shipment of my perk has been delayed because indiegogo was not giving them the money they raised and was giving them no reason why. They have awful customer service. No phone number or call possible! Just emailing through their system and sometimes it gets 7 days to get back to you. And they just send you automatic answers from their FAQ rather than helping you specifically. Not good at all for a 21st century tech company. They have supper inconvenient way of releasing fund to non-profits. They ask you to enter personal Social Security Number of a person in charge at the organization. I understand more than many I think that crowdfunding is investing in an idea that might not make it to fruition. Kind of micro venture capital without getting the business plan or any return on your investment ;). I also understand that Indiegogo has no control or responsibility over people who miscalculate, misjudge, or mismanage their ideas and/or businesses out of existence. RIP OFF SCAM! I waited a year and a half for the product I paid a lot of money for that i to this day have not received 2 years later! THEY DO NOT REFUND OR make the people refund you if they do not ship out the product trust me and don’t fall for this site they are scammers

Campaign I joined was a scam and campaigner has not sent ordered item or responded to emails for almost a year. Indiegogo support was absolutely useless and only sent emails saying to contact campaigner -- they even provided links that are useless and don't work.

Frauds only on Indiegogo. Never received my product, Indiegogo doesn't react and do not give money back or tries to help. Do not waste your money!

This is company is a fraud scheme collecting millions of dollars for illegitimate business's and then step out of the way. The companies they represent are like are scam artists many from foreign countries. They continue to sell products that do not exist or do not work. Please take this warning, Do not do bossiness with them for any product they represent. They need to go to jail as they are laughing all the way to the bank. Contact your credit card company to take them down.
