Just awesome. I purchased 9 items, got home, only had 8. Customer service was excellent, and I'll be picking up my lost/left behind 9th item this weekend. Will shop there again!
I find it hard to believe that they don't have electric scooters for the handicapped. Blew my mind. I guess it works for them. Don't go and have bad knees or a bad hip and don't have anyone with you to push you in a wheelchair.
I convinced my family to plan a day trip to IKEA... Finally got to go, as I had never been to an IKEA before. Wow!! We spent 3 and a half hours in the store and I still didn't get to see everything I wanted to, but we had several hours to drive to get home. We made some purchases of wonderful items and I cannot wait to go back!! I didn't get to eat lunch in the cafe, but we did get some great snacks: cinnamon rolls, pepparkakor, and kakor havreflarn...yum!! Next time I want to eat lunch there... My wife loves Ikea. We have to drive 4 hours to get to the Charlotte store. In the past we never had an issue. But if you have to drive a long way, be wary of buying sofas. Ours we bought today had the wrong hardware after getting it home. I would have been fine with that but after calling twice before getting through, I got three people in a row who were obviously annoyed with having to talk to me, and when I got frustrated one actually admonished me for my attitude. Cheap and had a great experience. I love the furniture they have and the organizer.
Honestly, I love ikea. I love how the store is clean and organized. I love how they have so many things to choose from for all of your household needs. I love how you don't necessarily have to break you budget to get the items you need. So why did I rate ikea as Okay. Well, I strongly believe in customer service and ikea is just a very busy store to not accommodate their customers with a faster checkout experience. They have 26 registers with only ten open.
