I love Ikea. I just wish they would build one in South Carolina!
Terrible customer service. Do not even try to call the customer service. Made more than 10 calls and finally reached someone out n the 3rd day. The problem still exists.
AWFUL customer service. Their customer service line is either busy or just beeps at you, they do not answer emails and the chat function doesn’t work.
I drove 45 minutes for a high chair. I checked the website the night before to make sure it was in stock. I get there and it’s not! The IKEA employee I was talking to couldn’t even tell me when they would be back in stock. She said, I would have to check online, on my own. I then had to wait in line to check out for 45 minutes. They had two registers open with an incredibly long line of people trying to check out. I’m in IKEA once or twice a year and have never had an issue until yesterday.
Ordering online is a joke! Put an order in June 12 it is now July 12, 31 days later, and I do not have my half of the vanity I ordered. I cannot get an answer from customer service and am about to report fraud to my visa card.
Ever waited for customer service (phone) 1st time on hold for 1hr and 37 min. 2nd time 1hr 11 min and this call took a total of 3hrs and 9 min. to resolve issue Return Department in Charlotte NC waited in line for 2hrs and another 35 min to readdress same issues. I was told by a manager that one person waited on hold close to 8hrs, yes 8 hours. Would never buy at IKEA!

The store is clean a has plenty of space to get around in, and shopping is easy. The problem is going to check out area with long lines and only a few cashiers working with over half of the lines closed. I estimate my time in line was between 20 to 25 minutes.
