POOR MANAGEMENT- Daughter has been without ac for 24 hours- no urgency-Manager ****** is terrible. Says they can not go look at ac because its raining. Do not put your kids here to live while at college.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for the delayed response as we just became notified of your review. Unfortunately, when we received the first call at 10PM on September 6th we were unable to work with electricity outdoors since it was raining, we fortunately were able to get the work done and the unit working by 2PM the following day. We do apologize for the inconvenience and we do strive to complete work orders, especially on AC units as quickly as we can.

I moved out of the property called Generations ******* managed by Greystar Property a year ago and I still have not received a balanced owed to me. The assistant manager and manager have not been able to resolve the matter after several communications and have ignored my emails since. Reached out to corporate office and they gave me the email of the regional manager and all they did was forward my email to the manager thats hasnt been helpful at all. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY: GREYSTAR OWNED APARTMENTS. I moved from this place last year and Greystar (having just purchased the place) is one of those parasitic evil companies that prey on the poor and less fortunate. The apartment upon move in was disgusting, hvac filthy, mold in the bathroom, a terrible MOUSE INFESTATION and they had the audacity to try and charge me over $1700 ON TOP OF LOSING THE SECURITY DEPOSIT UPON MOVEOUT. I was retaliated against and given a notice to vacate, due to a situation with the lady in the front office named ******. The situation had nothing to do with her initially. Her daughter caused damages to my vehicle, i was so kind an willing to work with her, instead of doing what is right I received a knock at my door with a notice to vacate. WARNING - DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO ANY ************ BY AMERICAN CAMPUS COMMUNITIES. This company is nothing but false advertising. This is not the best place to live. It's been nothing but a headache since my son moved in on 8/18/2022. Multiple problems and broken items in the unit and his key has not worked since the day he moved in. Management does nothing about it and forwards me to voicemail when I call to get the issues resolved. 

Business response:

On August 19th, ****** put in a work order stating that the lock to his front door would not turn all the way. Management was made aware on August 24th by ************** that her son, ******, was still having lock issues. The General Manager immediately went to the unit and the key that the General Manager used worked at first but then began not working intermittently. The General Manager tried ******* key and it would also work intermittently. The General Manager replaced the lock battery but that did not resolve the issue.... read more
