Hmmmm... keeping folks Admin Fees even when denied seems very scammy, unethical even, ... making monies either way huh.... Ive never experienced a denial 1st , && then to treat the excessive fees as if it's $20 is unsettling post Covid considering people trying to get things back on track.......... ???????????? If I could award negative stars, I would. Greystar only cares about making money. They don't care about creating inconveniences for residents. The property I live in has been under construction for over a year. They are remodeling by covering things with "fresh paint" and upgrading appliances all for a near $500 increase in rent for everyone. Ive lived in this townhome for close to ***************************************************************************** a week with an increase of $400 in base rent! Due to the sudden notice, we asked to give us time to rethink, however they never sent any written notification that allowed us to know if we were exempt from penalties. I live in Apex Apartments in Tacoma, WA; they are "managed" by Greystar. I moved in here a month ago. I really wanted to like the place--it’s in a convenient location and a spacious apartment. It’s not cheap, they have “strict” regulations on guests, and make it appear as if they care about security, so I assumed it would be better run. I was mistaken. Extremely poor management with no communication. We haven't had heat in over 2 weeks and no timeline of it being fixed. Since it's an older building with 3 sliding glass doors in the apartment that are not well maintained, there is a huge draft and the interior temperature drops quickly at night.UPDATE: The heat was finally fixed, but now it does not shut off completely so it stays too hot around 78 in the apartment and most of the time we have to keep the sliding doors cracked to reach a comfortable temperature. I previously lived at the ************************* in ********, ** owned and managed by greystar. Ive lived in many apartments and this management was by far the most unorganized and least professional I have ever dealt with. They lost my lease, my walk through statement ALL of my paperwork- they didnt even realize They had lost my lease until I requested a copy of it 90days after I moved in. Do not rent at Cornerstone Ranch in Chandler. The business manager, Gina allows tentants to make all kinds of noise after quiet hours. Lease states quiet after 10pm and she does not support. I have shared my concerns of minimal to no sleep countless times and her response is unethical furthermore not making any sense. My apartment will be vacant soon and the neighbor below DOES NOT SLEEP all he does is make loud noises throughout the night. So inconsiderate and it's allowed despite what is written in the lease. This is the worst management company Ive ever experienced in my life. I have rented many places have always made sure before move out everything is professionally repaired if needed and cleaned. I have never had a problem getting my security deposit back in full. Grey star on the other hand has taken my whole deposit of **** for nail holes where I hung my pictures and a few scuffs on the wall from where my couches were. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They do not care about anything except stealing peoples money.
