I called on Monday, July 11th about my ac fan unit not staying on and was told someone would come out Friday, July 15th between 1-4, so I left work early and no one ever showed up. I reached out to them that evening and asked what happened and I was told that I was actually scheduled for July 18th and AGAIN I left work early to wait for the AC tech person and no one ever showed up. If there were a number they allowed to give beneath one that is what I would give HomeServe USA repair plan. I got the plan several years ago. If you've ever had to be the primary care provider for your parents that had Alzheimer's, everything has to have your name on it and proof you paid it because it's unethical otherwise. My house has been in probate because of covid and my health, I've had 8 surgeries since then the last one 3 weeks ago I've got papers that prove the house is mine. I am long-time customer of HomeServe (since about 2016) and am so pleased with them. The annual premium is reasonable and the service is reliable. I've called as early as 6 am (EST) and had a friendly, efficient rep answer the phone immediately each time. I have had several needs (plumbing - indoor and out) and each issue has been resolved quickly, well, and in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this company.

I had already heard of their poor reputation but when they purchased the company that originally installed my system under a 12 year parts and labor warranty, I had no choice but to use FPL Home Services who agreed to honor the warranty. Even with the full warranty, I had to pre-pay nearly $500 to order a part back in May, then waited 6 wks for the part to arrive. During my wait period, FPL was kind enough to add another 1 lb of R-410A because they couldn't predict when the part would arrive and therefore couldn't schedule t... read more

Just to let you know this is the first time I use the service. I had what I thought as a toilet leak, however it was the system, it was all clogged up. The young man who came was so nice and kind he explained the problem and advised me he can fix the issues. He did a great job. He flushed out the toilet and the shower. After he completed putting the toilet back down, he cleaned the floor around the toilet and picked up all the wet towels and put them in a bin for them to be washed.! Great service. We received everything they promised. We had ***** for one year and Home Serve was half the cost. We quickly left ***** after 5 cancellations by the company and 2 repairs that didn’t last one month. I will recommend Home Serve to my children and friends. It is an honor to give my personal recommendation to them. We had drainage problems with 2 sinks in bathroom and the company sent by Home Serve was outstanding and took the needed time to fix and reconnect the pipes for both drains. First time using HomeServe and everything ran smooth from beginning to end. The customer service rep was very friendly and helpful. She said the plumbing Co. would call me soon to set up an appt. They called under 30 minutes, came the the next day only because I wasn't available the same day, and fixed the problem within an hour. It was a very easy process, and so far we are very happy.
