Home Serve has been approved by the Better Business Bureau and I don't understand how they have a quality rating. HomeServe's inability to respond to emergencies is dismal. HS once had representatives to take your information and respond to the emergency within 24 hrs. Now HS has a recording to locate your zip code then place the customer on hold. While on hold for 25 minutes, no representative ever fielded my call. I've dialed three different HomeServe numbers with the same results. This is definitely unacceptable. No one t... read more

This is a complete scam. They make it sounds it is a great service and you get an annual check up, except they consistently cancel the appointment with out notice, or don't show up. I would not recommend this service to anyone. It is a complete waste of money. Today i sat at home for 6 hours. They were supposed to show up between 8 am and 12 PM and it is not 2:24 PM and no one showed up.

I don't trust this company. In May I called for a service repair on a kitchen sink strainer. I called back after readying my policy and asked if this was covered and a customer service rep told me no! I checked my policy and it wasn't so I told them to cancel the service call. There was no point sending someone if I had to pay for it. There's a $25.00 service charge for the plumber to come to you're home. I was told I wouldn't have to pay this since no one came to my house and I canceled it within 2 hours. My June credit car... read more

Please be careful when you do contract with this insurance company. Very limited coverage. If you carefully see their fine print, they can put 1000 excuses not to cover your repairs. They designed their plans just to check problems but not to repairs.

Hi! I just put 1 star because I could not choose 0. I have been paying for more than one coverage to this company since 2017; yesterday, it was the first time ever that I have an issue with one of my appliance; with my Water Heater. My water heater started to leak water and my garage was getting very wet because of this situation. I asked for quote on new ac unit and possible duct work. Technician came out looked at AC unit, looked in attic and sat up there while talking on cell phone - weird. Quote was 50% higher than other quote (which I also thought was high) from my regular ac people. He seemed not to care and said to show him the other quote and he would see what he could do.
