I am so angry with Home Serve and the way my service call was handled. I was hand a bill that had no charges on it. I was told that all parts and labor were covered. You can imagine my shock and surprise when the tech sends me a message that Home Serve paid him $744 but I still owed him $1444. I have refused to pay. Home Serve called me later after I called them and stated I would not pay, “Don’t worry all has been taken care of. Bill balance is 0. Then just now they have set me a service call for the 25 today. Had Home Serv for 4 years and every year they came to do tune ups to my central air system. I had a leak and it turned out to be the evaporator coil in the air handler. I thought the coverage I had covers this. When doing tube ups they never went and checked the coils. Now I’m on the hook for a new air handler because Home Serv will not cover their mistake and lack of service. I want a full refund on the new air handler that I had to install which cost me $5,000.

This has been an absolutely terrible experience. In January we called in for broken plumbing for the kitchen and laundry room. A plumber came out and explained the problem (they used a camera to view the problem) and got approval from the company to get it fixed but they were told it would be two weeks before HomeServe would pay. Then the subcontracting plumbing company came down with COVID..which could happen. This company is considered no STAR. Not dependable when you need them. Do not sign contract under ******** ********It will just cause you money with no protection. Beware. I end up paying all cost when my water heater is broken. If you replace the unit, clause number 5 pretty much said that this company will never pay any cost.

HomeServe has performed far better then I expected. I never thought I would be using their gutter line maintenance service but it came in handy in April 2022. One day out of nowhere I had a sewer backup. I scheduled service call from HomeServe portal and someone was at my house the same day. To my shock, I found out that my gutter line had collapsed. HomeServe had my back and took care of the repair bill. Thank You so much HomeServe !!!! S.A

Excellent Customer Response! From the moment I reported my home related problem, HomeServe supported me and guided me through each step. First, they setup an appointment with the contracting company, time & Date. Secondly, HomeServe check back with me often to support me during my process and Wait...Great personnel!!! Thirdly, HomeServe Informed me when the contractor was leaving, and how far away the contractor was from my home until the time of arrival. This was the WORST BUSINESS EVER! It took7 months to be reimbursed for a microwave. The best part was I was sent a check only to have it bounce back and I had to pay the fee! There is NO direct number to headquarters. I WILL NEVER USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY AGAIN! I am taking my chances without a home warranty company because the frustration of calling them and NOBODY knowing or able to help is just too much. Please head my advice and stay away! I AM ONLY LEAVING ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T POST IT WITH NO STARS.
