Home Services was a blessing to me, I had a gas leak under my house, my gas was back on the 2nd day, job well done at no cost to me, complete and professional.

I have external electric coverage my problem is outside on my pole with the external box they sent out a repairman he got approval went to get the part then found out you would not pay for it even though it is external my payments are current

Despite paying premiums for years (for water, gas line, and sewer), HomeServe will not look at -- let alone pay -- for a significant issue with my sewer line documented by a licensed plumber. (The "Pemco" joint, which links two lines together, has collapsed in on itself and water is not running through the line properly. HomeServe will not help until I have sewage back up in my basement (which happened years ago -- not at all fun). They want me to wait for the problem to become more expensive and stressful rather than proact... read more

Disgusted. Horrid Customer Svce. I have POA for my ailing grandmother and mother, both with dementia. I am taking care of the house now. I called HomeServe as we had some appliances breakdown. I was told the ONLY coverage I have is for pipe bursts, sewage, water emergencies, interior plumbing. We then had a gas leak and the entire furnace and HVAC system had to be replaced. I just got a renewal of contract from HomeServe billing me for exactly HVAC coverage that I WAS NOT TOLD I HAD WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MY COVERAGE. Apparently... read more

I'm a senior female, or "very mature lady" as I put it, that is very retired and limited income and actually so glad that I joined Home Serve a year ago. The cost was a great help for me right now and the problem solving started with recognizing a shelf over a washer saturated and NOT SEEING leaking water with a son-in-law and granddaughter trying to discover over 3/4 days we just couldn't pin-point (key word here - pin-point) just exactly where water was coming from. I think the process went well. We were promptly contacted by Home Serve approved plumbers. The line leak was timely found and the repair was made. To the approvedplumber's credit, they showed genuine interest in what was best for us during the repair process. The yard has not yet settled so the reclamation process, reseeding and straw application, has not been done. Final review is subject to the satisfactory completion of final phase of repair.

I received several notices with information about water line protection. I must admit I ignored many of them. But one day I received one and took the time to read it. I even googled it and found that it was something good to have. So I signed up for it. Well a few weeks ago I noticed a puddle forming in my front yard. I contacted them and a service contractor reached out to me the same day. They are not following the contract. They have incompetent contractors who comes to your house and tell you the work did not cover the home serve insurance if we hire them in private capacity and finish the job . Home serve involves illegal and unfair practices through contractors and incompetent plumbers . Do not waist your money . I waisted three years insurance payments for getting nothing and end up hired private plumber to finish the job.
