Many insurances boast of all the benefits of buying their insurance but when you have an event they are all about exclusions and co-pays that apply. Not the case with HomeServe. When you have a stopped up kitchen sink and you have an internal coverage policy, all you do is call HomeServe and they literally take care of the rest with no charge to you up to an $8500 limit. ****** plumbing came real late but never worked out problem. The tech did work hard but couldn't find problem. Said would call back but I never heard from them. I'm calling ****and will pay for it. I'm done with *******

I was having trouble with my gas heater. It was making loud noises. I called, Home Serve, The first HVAC Tech. came out to repair the heating unit, He replaced a part that was needed to repair the heating unit. Later when I turned on the heating unit, no heat was coming out of the vents. I called the serve center the next day and the lady I spoke to was very nice and she promised to send another HVAC Tech. Please do not use this company, they send out out bad contractor to my home that causes $8000 dollars for me to take care of. I will cancel my many homeserve I have with this company, they never repair anything, but they take out that fee every month. ******* *******and *************** torn up my side walk to back walk Way, destroyed my grase trap, which is park of my septic tank, pipes, concrete destroyed. Homeserve or Freedom would take responsibility for the damage they cause my home, just to fixes my leaking kitchen sink... read more

I have contacted HomeServe numerous times regarding a problem that I have been trying to get resolved since January. A pipe was replaced and the hole filled in but the contractor never restored the lawn. I contacted the contractor many times to no avail. I thought that I might get some results from HomeServe but I have not. I have been told at least three times, over the past few weeks, that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. This is absolutely scammed company. What is not covered section has a list of reasons that can be applied to absolutely ANY damage. Service/Repair companies don't provide expert evaluation but instead do visual observation and provide results that is most likely WON'T cover your damages. On the phone, they jump from one reason to another with no connection to each other just to make sure they keep your money in their pockets. This company must be audited and prosecuted
