These ********are VERY good at taking your money every month but when it comes to helping you when there is a plumbing or sewage issue, they have absolutely NO sense of urgency! We've been paying them for protection on our interior and exterior plumbing and drain lines for YEARS and YEARS. In mid December we had a leaking sewage line in the basement. This company is a disgrace. I lost heat on January 7th, 2022. Repair man came and said I needed a new burner. He didn’t have the part and would order it. This was a Friday. He got burner to work for 10 minutes and it shut down. Had another repair man come Saturday and said why did we call you need the part. He got burned to work for 5 minutes and it shut down. Sunday we called and they sent a repairman and said they don’t have the part yet. Got it to work 5 minutes and it shut down. Monday we get a call from parts and they a... read more

On 15th Jan, a call was made to report the leakage in the incoming water pipeline where your company was informed about serious nature of the issue because my husband who is disabled and is a critical care patient lives in the basement room where all this issue had surfaced. Homseserve sent a technician who came on Monday the 24th to fix the issue, for which they dug the front yard but in turn damaged the gas pipe and left us without gas, heat, and water for 30 hours in the month of January with below freezing temperatures w... read more

I signed up for Homeserve several months ago through *********** thinking it would be a great investment for my older home. I was wrong. About a month ago (head of some freezing weather), I called them because I wasn't getting gas to half my house and wanted someone to check my lines. I called them, got a call from a service provider shortly after and got scheduled for service. The service day came and went with no one showing up and no call from the provider. I really think this company are scam artist that are allowed to use FPL name. Trying to send me a warranty claiming my water line is old. Problem is I don't have a water line I am on well water. They are constantly sending me letters for warranties for my electrical going to my house. Their own website states "The above products, plans and services are offered by FPL Home and its affiliates and not FPL." Why would FPL allow this. $$$$ they want you to get scammed. After noticing water in my yard, I called Homeserve. They sent out someone to examine it the next day. He told us that my water main was broken, and we needed to turn off all the water. His next available service date was more than a week away. I called Homeserve to try to arrange anything sooner, and they said they'd call me back. They never did. I’ve been a HomeServe client for several years. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first because my prior experiences with companies that offer extended service plans/insurance for things like furniture have never been honest and forthright. Rather, they do everything in their power to make you stop calling so that you’ll never exercise a claim. NOT TRUE WITH HOMESERVE.
