Kitchen sink plumbing was packed solid and could not be cleared despite two tries at snaking to the ground. The contractors came back 2 days later, cut out the old drainage pipe in the basement and replaced it with new pvc pipe. We are grateful. This one service more than paid for the yearly premium!

Communication and response and responsibilities to fix repairs are terrible. They fail to fix things in a timely manner.

Absolute nightmare to deal with. After paying into the service for 3 years for heating and cooling coverage, I called in due to a zone not getting heat. They found someone who didn't come in until 3 days later to spend 20 seconds in the house and said requires s full replacement and they need to get authorization from homeserve and they will cam in the next day once the authorization is received. I was double billed for 13 months or my water heater plan and it took weeks to get a refund, although I had proof with the double billing on my bills. It took several calls to get them to agree to the right amount ($129). they kept insisting that 13 months X $9.99 was $87.00. That was two months ago. This company is horrible. On the coldest day of the year, the morning of December 24th I woke up freezing. Temperature was registering 56 degrees in the house and it was 7 degrees outside. Needless to say system was not working. We had purchased a new system from Homeserve along with the contract less then 3 years ago. I was so pleased with the professionalism and helpfulness of the representatives who dealt with my plumbing issue. They quickly found someone to pick up the job, and my problem was resolved quickly and effectively. Home Serve made everything easy.

The problem was discovered and homeserve called and said it was covered to fix but 10 minutes later it wasn’t covered because of an exclusion. My Declarations of Benefits does not list this problem as an exclusion!!
