We experienced a main sewer pipe backup. Called HomeServe. Three plumber services were required to correct the problem: snake out the pipe, run a camera through the pipe to check for blockage, and the a hyper flush to clean out any remaining blockage. The HomeServe representatives were efficient, courteous, and kept me informed throughout the total project. January 2021, I signed up for an annual water line protection plan at $59.40, "automatically renewed annually on the same payment terms". January 2022 the charge to my checking account was $83.40 (40% over the $59.40). I did not notice at the time. January 2023 the charge to my checking account was $89.40 (50% over the $59.40). Supervisor "unavailable" to engage me.
