I enrolled with Home Serve for Exterior Water Line 1/31/22, Plumbing and Drainage 8/11/22, Water Heater Repair and ******** ******** **** 1/31/23. I have used the service for plumbing. I called 2/20/23 and they came and unclogged my drain outside my house on 2/22/23 in 30 minutes. I called again on 4/5/23 because my kitchen and dining room light wasn't working. I had a Heating and Cooling plan with Homeserve. The heat pump stopped working. Technician from Homeserve diagnosed the problem as a kaput Control Board on the outside unit and recommended replacement. That's when the nightmare started. The repair department called to say (a) the part may not be available and (b) my plan was for a ducted coming system but my unit was ductless so the repair warranty would not apply. I still have not received my copay receipt from work scheduled by home serve. The operator Saud her system was down. I cannot comprehend this. The plumbing company had to come out twice… the first time they “fixed it”. The. Plumber left. The shower leaked still. I had to call to reopen the ticket. Then, Hours later the same guy came back and repaired it. Blamed it on a part that did not work. Repairs took all day.

In January 2023 I had a water leak, and opened a claim with HomeServe. Their contractor came and repaired the water line on Feb. 4th. However, this contractor did not do concrete work so a different contractor would need to do that. The contractor who fixed the water leak told me they would be back in a month to level out the yard and sow grass back. They never showed up and did not return any of my calls. They are dependable they complete the job or they do not leave. I've had them come out two different times I call the night before and they show up the next morning. The guys that come out are always friendly, I would advise getting this warranty because it pays off in the long run.

I have used Home Serve for years. I have called on three occasions and told each tech who came to my house that I was concerned that the boiler door not being able to close because a prior tech built out the gas line for the pilot to the outside of the unit. Now I am looking to sell my home only to find out that my concerns about the door not closing were correct. The unit is not up to code due to the work done by Home Serve. Home Serve USA has taken direct debits out of our bank account for a "repair plan" but no information, no documentation has been shared and we have no business/customer relationship with this entity. There was a transaction listed under "other payment" taken on 4/07/2023 for the amount $89.88. This transaction has been reported to the bank's fraud department. I have been paying Home serve for outside and inside water sewer pipes coverage. I had called the company in two occasions and was denied and no reimbursement. I think this company is bogus company running a scam , I need you to investigate and need them to fix the cracked pipe . They refused to give me the service I have been paying for.
