We have had the Hot Water Tank service for about 10 years. On 6/12/23, our water tank failed and we called Home Serve about replacement. They told us that they would refer this to the local contractor, Laurel Mgmt Service and we would hear within 24 hours. Called Laurel Mgmt to see how long it would be. They advised they never received a call or service order from them, and that they were no longer providers to HOME SERVE. I was VERY pleased with Bill Ledbetter, the Master Plumber from Plum Perfection whom you sent to help me with my outside electrical breaker problem. He was not only prompt but finished up his previous job and arrived at my house early. He was very nice and very easy to talk to, explaining everything to me in terms I could understand. The service provided was prompt, and the plumber was very professional. He identified the issue what caused it, and best of all a simple fix. I was given clear instructions on how to remediate the issue. If it should reoccur, he made the appropriate notes in my record and this way if it happens again, someone else will know what he did. It’s a great service!

GO WITH A REPUTABLE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, DO NOT USE HOME SERVE. I am a successful Realtor in the *******and I purchased a Home Serve warranty for my own house at a colleagues recommendation. I will NEVER recommend this company to any friends or clients. I paid for their service for a year and this was a HUGE mistake. We are highly satisfied with your service in our time of need. Our air conditioning was blowing warm air one afternoon. I called the HomeServe number and got an all-automated response system that asked me to describe the problem. The automatic voice said that since it was past 4:00 pm, I would get a call back the next day. I was in despair, believing we'd be stuck without A/C for days.
