Sorry I ever took the warranty. Wasted my long term that I paid in. Feel let down. No where in the contact was there a limit on size of replacement water heater. Went from 80 gallon to 50 gallon and had to pay for installation because hookup was different. Dropping my payments and warranty plan.

On two separate instances I needed to contact HomeServe for assistance: once, with my furnace; and the second, related to an electrical problem. Both times a professional service technician assesses and repaired the issue. I have had complete satisfaction with HomeServe’s referrals and the initial courtesy and professional assistance the representative provided. I have since signed in for additional coverage for my residence. They come highly recommended by me!

It’s ridiculous to have a “home warranty” for large appliances such as an HVAC system and NOT cover the most important - and expensive - components that one would WANT a home warranty for in the first place. They claim it’s “in your contract” but since we signed up through CPE there was no “Contract” to read through and the way the warranty was presented was extraordinarily misleading. I have never had a worse experience with a company in all my life! Homeserve is the WORST. Do not let them service your home! Today is March 15. I have been with out hot water for 6 days now. My hot water heater broke. We called Homeserve because we have a contract with them. They came very quickly (only good part of this story) only to find out my water heater isn't covered. I had a service contract from my previous house (boiler & water heater, one contract) and now this house, been here 5 years. No one told me that becaus... read more

Very simply, we had a major problem, called Home Serve, and it seemed almost instantaneous when help arrived. No hassles, no "I'm sorry we can't help you" or anything else that one fears may happen. The were a blessing t say the very least. I would tell anyone that they should get Home Serve protection NOW. Once a crisis hits, it is too late. Do it today or regret it tomorrow.

My husband and I are seniors...what a God send Homeserve has been for us. We have used them twice and in both circumstances they were quick, thorough and friendly,, literally saving us thousands of dollars.

3 years ago I opted for the HomeServe option. Best thing I ever did. Last month the pipe to the main water pulled away causing low water pressure. When I called to schedule an appointment they were out here the very next day. After that the next day my line was completely repaired A wonderful investment or peace of mind.

As a home owner you are out of your mind not to have Home Serve as your friend and savior. I can't tell you how many times they have relieved us of problems associated with our water lines, both interior and exterior. We also have the hot water heater protection. The only reason we don't have the electrical is because we have a son in the business.
