HomeServe provided me Top Notch Service! I had a Water Heater Issued, the HomeServe Representative was so nice and cared about my issued. Took immediate action. HomeServe did exactly what their agreement said they would. I submitted a problem online, made contact with a HomeServe customer service rep who then connected me with plumbing service to set up the service call. Plumber arrived on time, made the repair and I was good to go. Definitely worth what I paid for the “insurance” and process was very easy.

I purchased a Emergency 24/7 plan, and had a flood over the weekend, they literally never even called me back. I called 3x. I have water ruining my new floors and they sold me a LIE. They will not come or call you back on a weekend, they will just flat let you sit in water, they don't care if your floor gets ruined, it isn't covered. I was sold a Emergency plan, which truly is a lie. They WILL NOT come help, you will be lucky if they come next week, and could care less that your floor gets trashed. I called because we had a problem with our air conditioner. Home Serve had someone come out and I called the next day to see if the repair was approved. I was told it was but my part would be $800 plus. When I asked what for they could not tell me and said they would have someone call me. I never got the call. I called the company that came out and they told me what Home Serve would not approve and none of it made sense. We have been getting notices from the Water Authority for years about taking HomeServe insurance on our water and sewer lines. We just always threw them in the trash until several years ago when we realized that our home was getting older and we saw many yards dug up in the area for sewer/water problems. In all of my 69 years I have never, ever heard of or dealt with a company such as HOME SERVE. For if it can be said that a company can be so good that they are akin to an ANGEL, THIS IS THE COMPANY. First of all, unlike other companies, when Home Serve comes you already know that you can forget about that lovely $75 fee normally paid for the other lovely home warrantee companies, ie such as American Home Shield, for which one has the honor of paying upfront that fee just to have their person come to visit.
