I called on a Friday afternoon about my hot water heater being on the fritz. The soonest they could have a service here was the following Monday which I understood completely. Service guy came, recommended replacement because part had been replaced once and old heater was 20 years old. It was a smooth easy process and thanks to homeserve I was only out $400 instead of $1400

I had a 90 ft sewer line become unusable. Homeserve sent a company out to inspect it. They tried several times to unstop it, but the problem would return. The plumber called Homeserve and explained the problem. Next day the we’re putting in a new sewer line. I’ve dealt with home warranties before and never been happy. Homeserve is the first company to answer the phone promptly, talk with me through the problem and get the problem solved in a timely matter. 5 star service.

I've been paying for a full set of premium home service warranties since 2015. First time I had a problem with sewer line after paying a few years, they said they would not cover it because it was some old type of sewer pipe. Not happy with that after paying for the service...but at that time it was still controlled by ******** Energy Services, so I'm not going to blame Homeserve for that. DO NOT USE- UNRELIABLE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Technician showed up several hours late. Seem somewhat incoherent. Could really explain the issue and could hardly complete the paperwork. If he couldn't do the paperwork I am not sure how well he did everything else. I called the office and as expected, I get a customer service rep who reads a scripted response and can only tell me they have no management or line supervision working on the weekends to address my concern, only technicians. Since I have to apparently give them 1 star, that is what I gave. It would be zero if that were an option. On June 1st, I had homeserve's contractor out to fix a plugged drain line. They snaked in the bathroom, and that didn't work. Then snaked under the kitchen sink, and got the water to drain. Before they left, they told my wife that they had checked under the house, and there were no leaks. About a week later, we started noticing a lot of mosquitos in the house, and a rather musty smell. The guys that showed up were friendly as well as skilled. They replaced my main waterline and cleaned up and were gone in 6 hours. Very neat and tidy when they left. And no out of pocket costs !! Highly recommend Homeserve !!
