Horrible, horrible, horrible. I purchased a Home warranty last October and tried to use it for the first time on July 26. Besides having to wait for somebody to call YOU back, they don't keep their appointments. During this past week, I have called them 10-12 times, even spoke to a manager, and still don't have my toilet fixed. Filed a claim on 6/11/21 to fix a Ice Maker . Here it is 7/29/21 and no service from FPL. The solution is to have GE Services replace the Piece of Junk that FPL out in. The only way to switch this Ice Maker on and off is to use a Hair Dryer to melt the Ice build up on switch. Have not heard anything from Customer Services since 7/16/21 when "******" said the "Team" was going to meet and decide what to do. I'm getting the run around for a $300.00 Ice Maker.. Worst **** ever! After a bad lightening storm, our TV wouldn't turn on. We called FPL Home and they told us to call a technician that they recommended. We dod; he declared the TV permanently damaged by the storm. We paid him $130, which FPL Home said would be reimbursed, along with the replacement of our TV. It has been over 6 weeks; no TV; no reimbursement; no communication whatsoever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I realized on a Saturday that my 15 year old water heater had died. On Sunday I called HomeServe and who I talked to was very helpful and got a plumber to my house within hours on a Sunday. The plumber showed up said the problem was electrical and that I would have to have an electrician look at it. On Monday I called an electrical contractor in *********and he looked and tested everything and the heater had burned up so then I had to call a plumbing company to replace my 15 year old water heater.

Every service call since the install of 2 complete air conditioners from Jupiter Tequesta Air/FPL in 2016 required another purchase. I have spent thousands of dollars for services rendered to fix these new air conditioners. Pumps, electronic air filters, UV lights. Endless purchases at the suggestion of each serviceman. On top of that, I had maintenance membership 4 out of 5 years. Lastly, The UV bulbs $$$$ are totally ineffective due to the INSTALLATION of the bulbs. The water department let us know we probably had a pretty good water leak, although I never saw any water. This was on a Friday. I called Homeserve Friday afternoon and told them about it. They told me someone would contact me to set up an appointment. Within a couple of minutes after I got off the phone, the phone rang and it was *** ********who is the local company that does the repairs for Homeserve. WOW was that quick! I was very happy that I signed up for Home Serve. It was worth it on the first visit by *** ********. They came out 2 days after reporting a problem with our sewers. Rob fixed the problem in no time, and had to take it apart and replace things to clear it up, right! Everything works great and saved me $717.00 for him to come without Home Serve. I am a realtor, I have seen in many homes when indoor or outdoor plumbing or sewer line repairs need to be fixed, Or need electric and water Heater repair!
