My wife and I have stayed at Embassy Suites Atlanta Perimeter Center on our anniversary many times in the past 15 years. This trip is the last, as I made a reservation online using a credit card, for which they billed us for 2 nights 290.00 upon checking in. The problem now is that they also put a pending hold on my card for an additional 290.00. It has been 5 days since we checked out and those funds are still being held. I walked in to this establishment, when I could have went anywhere else! I just wanted to have a little fun with the kids. So we got a suite or so I thought. We ended up with a wheelchair room! I paid 174 for the room!!!! Room 218 That’s what I was quoted. Fred told me I would have complimentary breakfast, we didn’t. We were charged in full! I spoke with the lady at the front desk upon checkout, and she assured me she would fix the mistake. I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Pine Bluff, AR. I was bitten by bed bugs. I reported it to Hilton Headquarters and received an apology. I requested a refund for my two nights stay in addition to requesting extermination of the hotel or at least room 423, which is where i stayed. They told me the hotel would be responsible for handling matters such as this. We have enjoyed staying at Hilton properties for over 20 years, but gradually something has changed. It has crept up on us over the last few years and only until recently have we spent the time to uncover the scheme Hilton is now using in their pricing of the rooms. When we select the room we want at the lowest price offered, then try to use our AAA or AARP discount cards, they apply a higher room charge, then deduct the discount, so the room price is now higher than their discounted room price. I rented the nicest room I could buy for my honeymoon 3 months in advance. At the homewood suites by hilton in Richmond . The room was downgraded to the lowest room . The rate was kept the same as the high rate room . No explanation was ever given . I got a full refund after three hours talking back and forth with the hotel and corporate. Ruined first day of my honeymoon.

I stayed at the doubletree hotel on 7-30/31-19. I was bitten by something in the hotel room. Figured it was bedbugs as I have a string of 7 bites in a row on my arm. Happy to provide a picture. I provided that already to Pamela Mee at Travelers Insurance and the hotel manager. Report came back that there was no bed bugs, but something bit me on the arm in that pattern, which is tell-tale of bedbug bites. Maybe Spiders? Don't know. Never heard anything as follow-up. Never in all my years of working in hotels/resorts could I imagine a chain telling customers that their website showing incorrect information is not their fault. But that is exactly what Hilton does to try to get even more money from customers for their over priced rooms. The Honors program is laughable as they do not care at all about members. 3 hours I spent trying to explain to 3 different customer service reps that their website was showing a lower price than what they said it would be when I tried to make the reservatio... read more

This was a great stay until it wasn't!. I checked in Saturday, August 31st and checked out Monday, September 2nd. I was bit while sleeping, but downplayed it for a mosquito bite. When I arrived home to Mississippi late Monday evening. I began to itch and my feet turned red. I took a Benadryl and went to bed. At 3 am I was awoke from my sleep with a rash/hive like infestation on a few places on my body. My feet were so swollen I could barely put on shoes. I am very very disappointed in Hilton World Wide and its Hilton Honors program. Everything went wrong even before I got to use my reservation. I was supposed to be staying at Double Tree and it wasn't in a location that I wanted to be. I only found this out after I made my reservation for my 15th wedding anniversary next year.
