Dr. Hickman replaced both of my knees this past year and it has made an amazing difference in my quality of life. Dr. Hickman came extremely well recommended and for good reason. The surgical process was flawless and the result was a quick recovery on both knees. I’m pain free and able to return to activities I thought would remain simply memories. Dr. Hickman and his team are amazing professionals and I highly recommend them.
Every visit has been conducted professionally, courteously, and with safety measures in force for covid restrictions and precautions. I received two new hips (one for each leg) this fall... I am very satisfied with the progress I have made. I am now able to walk long distances and walk up and down the stairs in a normal gait. I am so pleased with their concerns at each visit. I truly am so excited to recommend this office and Dr. J Hickman to other family and friends.
My knee has been in increasing pain over the last four years after a revision done at University of Utah. I saw Dr Hickman and he explained to me what the problem was and how he could fix it. And it worked! I cried when I saw the X-rays after surgery.
The Staff is so helpful and friendly. From the front desk, to the medical assistants and the PA’s, they all remember you and are genuinely glad to see you. Dr. Hickman did a minor procedure on my artificial knee, which months later got an infection. He came into the ER on a weekend he was not on call to assist me. The ER docs struggled to drain the knee. He was friendly and patient with them, showing them the key to removing the fluid. Four months ago Dr. Hickman installed a new hip , everything went well , I am pleased with the process , and the results .
I had total knee replacement of both knees ( 2 months apart). the procedures were out patient at a local surgical center. Dr. Hickman explained the activity for the day at the start and followed up when I was ready for checkout. I have completed post operational reviews on both knees and every thing checkout perfect.
He & his staff are the best!! I was told he was the best & I agree. The rest of the staff are the greatest also
Dr. Hickman performed my total knee replacement. The surgery and recovery went very well. I followed all of his post-op instructions, and before 3 weeks after surgery I was walking without crutches or cane and no longer needed pain medication of any kind. I'm continuing to go to physical therapy and do the exercises daily, and my progress has been great.
