I had a total left knee replacement. Dr Hickman is an outstanding surgeon! My recovery was faster than normal. My knee is doing very well. I'm glad I had it done. Dr Hickman was always professional, kind, and patient when I had inquiries regarding the surgery or pain management. I highly recommend him!
Doctor Hickman did a meniscus repaired I ended up with blood clots in my lungs I also told him that there was something still wrong with my me that it was increasing in pain and I could not stand without my leg and toes going numb he finally yelled at me and told me to get out of his office and that he didn't wanna see me for 3 months had another MRI done by a different doctor the meniscus still torn will never ever recommend him to anyone
Dr Hickman is an Excellent Dr and a very Compassionate Man. He explains things and makes sure you understand everything he is discussing!!!! Surgery, recovery and rehabilitation were as explained and expected. Long term recovery was as described. The only time there is any pain is from overexeration.
When other doctors said no to doing my hip Dr. Hickman cared enough to fix it and give me life again. He is truly a gifted person and cares.
Dr. Hickman gave me my life back after 2 knee replacements. I chose him for his skill and great outcomes. I recommend him to everyone. He and his staff were great throughout the entire process. I'm very pleased with my new knees!
A little over town years ago I couldn’t walk a block without pain. I went in to see Dr. Hickman, terrified. Two full knee replacements later I have a new lease on life. Both surgeries went off without a hitch. Between Dr. Hickman’s magic and a great physical therapist I am doing things today that I haven’t done in years! Thank you Dr. Hickman...I have a new lease on life.
Dr. Josh Hickman is the best!!! I had a hip replacement just two weeks ago. The surgery went perfectly. I had struggled for two years with pain not knowing it was my hip. Dr. Hickman’s staff got me right in. Dr. Hickman did surgery within two weeks of meeting me. My hip was very worn out. Since the surgery no pain. Dr. Hickman is the best in the state. Very kind, and caring. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Hickman replaced both of my knees and was wonderful. From the first consultation to the post op appointments I was treated exceptionally well. The surgeries were explained well and all my questions were answered. It was so worth the drive to Bountiful to get such great care. Love the new Layton office.
