Dr. Hickman has no bed side manner. He never was in the office when we would have an appointment with HIM, not his P.A, but with him. On the rare occasion we did meet with him (the 30 seconds prior to surgery, or after I had to track him down after my mom returned from surgery) he was always in a hurry. He runs a factory. He treats humans as if they're just a number and a $. I would never recommend him to anyone who wants an accurate description of their surgery and a doctor who cares.

Dr. Hickman gave me back my active lifestyle. I would not let any other Dr do hip or knee replacement. I let all my co-workers, friends, and fellow yogis know it. I do yoga 4 times week. I am fairly advanced and can do almost any pose, especially the ones that require maximum flexibility. He saved me, I don't know what I would do without yoga, or him, for that matter. He has a real "can do" attitude, and does not put limitations on what activities you can do. I love his positivity.

I walked into, or rather hobbled into Dr. Hickman's office in January 2018. Within the first visit I was diagnosed and had surgery dates set up for two very much needed hip replacement surgeries ( bone on bone). Here I am, 5 months later with two new hips and walking like a champ! Dr. Hickman was positive, upbeat and made me feel great throughout the entire process. He and his entire team have been, from start to finish, fantastic for all that I have needed.

I am still in the early stages of recovery, but I could not be more pleased with Dr. Hickman's initial analysis, how and what he would do to fix it. It all made much sense and so far things are looking good.

Josh has done 4 joint replacements for me in the past 15 years, 2 hip, 2 knee. I now live 300 miles away but return here because I have so much faith in his technical excellence. My outcomes have been excellent. I never give a thought to my joints; they work great. He is personable and comfortable in our interactions.

Had both knees done -- Arrived Lakeview Hospital at 6am and went home at 4pm for each knee. Well satisfied with care and follow-up

DR. Hickman did a revision on my right knee in July of 2017,It has been so much better than the first replacement done in 2008.by another Doctor. Hard to believe it was the same knee. I have been very pleased and would ,(and have recommended) Dr. Hickman to others including my family doctor. Thanks Dr. Hickman and staff.also the people at Lakeview Hospital top notch care.

I knew Dr Hickman several years ago when taking his patients (like many other doctors) into home health care. The thing that stands out so much is his patients never had bad side effects from his surgeries. They recovered much faster and they just did so much better than many other physicians. When I broke my hip this last year, there was only one physician I was going to. I have referred many family members and friends and the common denominator is each person has done excellent in recovering.

Dr. Hickman and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I just had my second knee replaced by Dr. Hickman and is very happy with the results.
