I did a lot of research across the entire planet before I chose Dr. Hickman to perform my hip resurfacing surgery, so I already had pretty high expectations, but the outcome has dramatically exceeded my expectations. I'm very, very happy with my choice of Dr. Hickman.

I am so happy that I chose Dr. Hickman for my surgery. My recovery has been much better than others that I’ve known. In 4 days I was walking without my crutches. My range of motion in two weeks was that of a six week patient. I’m doing the other knee in a week. Can’t wait to have pain free knees. Thank you Dr. Hickman.

From the start to the finish Dr Hickman and all of his staff have been awesome. Never have I experienced such professionalism and substantial care, by everyone. I am headed for surgery and there is not a doubt in my mind that I have the best Dr. and will receive the best of care. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give because Dr Hickman and his staff surely deserve more. Such an awesome bunch of professional people. If you want the best here is your choice. Dr. Hickman has no bed side manner. He never was in the office when we would have an appointment with HIM, not his P.A, but with him. On the rare occasion we did meet with him (the 30 seconds prior to surgery, or after I had to track him down after my mom returned from surgery) he was always in a hurry. He runs a factory. He treats humans as if they're just a number and a $. I would never recommend him to anyone who wants an accurate description of their surgery and a doctor who cares.

Dr. Hickman gave me back my active lifestyle. I would not let any other Dr do hip or knee replacement. I let all my co-workers, friends, and fellow yogis know it. I do yoga 4 times week. I am fairly advanced and can do almost any pose, especially the ones that require maximum flexibility. He saved me, I don't know what I would do without yoga, or him, for that matter. He has a real "can do" attitude, and does not put limitations on what activities you can do. I love his positivity.

I walked into, or rather hobbled into Dr. Hickman's office in January 2018. Within the first visit I was diagnosed and had surgery dates set up for two very much needed hip replacement surgeries ( bone on bone). Here I am, 5 months later with two new hips and walking like a champ! Dr. Hickman was positive, upbeat and made me feel great throughout the entire process. He and his entire team have been, from start to finish, fantastic for all that I have needed.

I am still in the early stages of recovery, but I could not be more pleased with Dr. Hickman's initial analysis, how and what he would do to fix it. It all made much sense and so far things are looking good.

Josh has done 4 joint replacements for me in the past 15 years, 2 hip, 2 knee. I now live 300 miles away but return here because I have so much faith in his technical excellence. My outcomes have been excellent. I never give a thought to my joints; they work great. He is personable and comfortable in our interactions.
