In February, I traded in my 2022 Chevrolet Suburban to this dealership for a 2021 Ford Expedition. Two weeks later, a Ford dealer inspection revealed that the car had been previously damaged, repaired in two locations, and none of these were reported or reported on Carfax. I believe this dealer purchased the damaged car, repaired it, and did not disclose it to me at the time of sale. This past week, I received an email and a text asking to give feedback out our recent service with John Eagle Acura. This vehicle that was serviced there no longer belongs to us, and we did not seek service from them with any other vehicle. We sold our Acura as a trade-in in 2023 for one of their used cars. We were told that it would be sold as scrap metal, and was not worth anything more because the engine was beyond repair. Came in for a diagnosis , dropped my car off service advisor never once contacted me to discuss the findings. I had to keep calling only to hear oh we have been trying to contact you!! Once i was at the dealer picking up my car there reccomendations were a tire rotation ( on tires less than 2 weeks old brand new installed and aligned) claimed i needed an entire windshield replaced ( but a mechanic from a gas station was able to put back the rearview mirror with no issues) lastly my broken seat aparently is not covered by fac... read more

Please beware McGrath Acura of Libertyville. I contacted this dealership on December ****** to schedule a test drive of a *** x3 for the very next morning. While on my way the next morning they text me for my ETA as I was parking in their parking lot. I test drove the car and spent 2 hours with 3 different people discussing the extra warranty I wanted and financing. Brought my RDX in mid July 2024 for AC issue. Process started with Evac/Recharge of system & added dye that would show where leak/issue was. Went back early/mid ******* told Compressor Hose needed repair. Claim sent to Extended Warranty (3rd party) and denied. Repair took place end of ******* paid the $1,000 to change the ** and thought I was done. While still onsite engine began spewing Freon, they took car back and gave me a loaner.
