We have not felt dissatisfied purchasing a vehicle anywhere else, but here at Hendrick ****** in *******, ** due to their unprofessionalism. First, they refused to remove the pre-installed $1500 LoJack that we did not want, but discounted some. Second, they never disclosed that our car comes with one key. I think they are charging excessive price for labor , not make sense be paying 600 dls for replace the 2 batteries and fluid in the axles and the time before I paid 150 just for the Ac filters to be replace , thanks to that I trade out my Jeep but Im trying to get back what I over paid and I check with some dealer mechanics and they think the same that I over paid . So I had a new timing belt, water pump, drive belt service done in July at the Hendrick ****** in *******, ** off of 67th street. The other day the truck started leaking coolant from the water pump area (My truck has never leaked coolant before the service). So I called them and set up an appt next day so they can look at it. They said it was due to engine block pitting/corrosion and that the water pump didn't have a proper seal due to it. We have been dealing with Acura of Stamford for over a year now to have our Acura MDX fix for a P0300 code (multiple misfire). My wife had taken the vehicle over to the dealership several times. They've charged her for maintenance that were partly done and not done at all. Based on the invoices, spark plugs (6), ignition coils (6), gasket set and all valve adjustments (all 24) were performed. The ECM was claimed to be reset, car tested and normal operation restored. BUYERS BEWARE PLEASE READ: I was under the impression that AutoNation was a reputable dealership that took care of their customers. That was a BIG mistake! Customer was aware the vehicle is not in our store, and we needed to secure the unit in the order to finalize the transaction. Due to price discrepancy, we were not able to. We tried to resolve the situation and were in communication, but he was not satisfied with the outcome. While we understand it is not a pleasant situation, we sincerely apologize for what happened.
The dealer has a pre purchase add on called LoJack, which essentially is a vehicle gps locator device installed on the car. It presumably could locate your car if stolen. They refuse to remove it from the auto prior to sale. It adds $1500 to the price, and presumably a significant amount of extra profit. Beware.
Where to begin, made appointment online for Oct 27th at 11 am. Just a regular routine oil change. OK my fault i did drop off an not wait there, so apparently this makes a big diff. when it comes to oil change. When purchased vehicle from them 7 months ago i got free oil changes, tire rotation, check fluids with my Hendrick prepaid service plan package and also the package for my tires as well. On 10/2/2023 I received the worst customer service experience ever from a customer service representative at **********************************************************************/on **************. For no reason at all the representative was rude, unprofessional, impatient, and disrespectful. I reported his unprofessionalism to the service manager on duty. After multiple meetings, both in person and via email/phone, myself and the sales person had a WRITEEN agreed upon an all in price for a used vehicle and a pick up date to accommodate the sales persons day off schedule/my schedule. I even offered to put down a deposit for the vehicle to hold it for 48 hours until pick up to ensure it was held.
