The staff on 6 south and Dr Michael Butler saved my life against all odds ! I spent over 6 week with them and they have a special place in my ! His entire team and all the specialists that worked so hard to save me, I thank god for each & everyone of you ,
Been sitting here with my daughter for over 5 hours and still in the waiting room. This hospital sucks. She is so sick
How can you be part of a nationally ranked hospital and NOT have any staff in your ED who knows 1) what a shunt is, 2) what a shunt does and 3) if there is a shunt magnet in your ED and how to find out if there is. It doesn’t take almost 3 hours to contact neurosurgery. This is why I exclusively travel to UPMC Presby.. I would have never waited as long as I did at Hamot for someone to show up from neurosurg to adjust my shunt. An RN should know what a shunt is and what it does and where they’re placed. Unacceptable. Needless... read more
Ok first off I truly hate hospitals and doctors but let me just say this. On Friday I was forced to go into the ER for what I thought was really bad gas and ended up being admitted for a much worse condition. My gallbladder was full of gall stones and it had effected my pancreas to the point of it being infected. The staff worked really fast at getting me stable enough to have the gallbladder removed which was done 2 days later which was just yesterday and now 29 hours after surgery I'm at home with my wife to finish my reco... read more

I am looking for my niece born here in 1996 or 1995. Her first name Stephanie (named after me) to mother Jody and father Doug. The baby was raised by Jody's sister (the other aunt). I've never met my niece and would love to find her finally. She is now an adult and I've already missed out on so much of her life I don't want to miss more. Anyone with any info please contact me via FB. Thank you!
My 3 month old son went there the other night for cataract surgery. The surgents did an amazing job on my son and so did Dr.Sala. He can see and is the happiest baby ever now. We ended up staying the night and it was the best stay ever. The nurses were amazing with my son and great at always checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. There wonderful people. Thank you everyone for being so nice and understanding.
