Getaround robs people. They do not disclose all the fees they charge upfront, But take it out your account after booking..
Horrible service , they never inspect any cars and the cars on their platform are a filth in terrible working conditions.

First and foremost I don't even have an account with this company but yet and still someone was able to obtain and use my credit card without my authorization. We have no working phone number that I can tell and I sent over 10 emails regards to my money and why is it missing off my card and also who did it I need some answers this ridiculous I have to go through all this over my money . I first used this service a year or 2 ago and customer service was on point! My last 2 trips have been less than impressive as customer support was rude and would not listen when I called to ask for instructions about parking because the listed area from the owner was not available. Customer support would not transfer my call to another person to try and address our apparent miscommunication- I also asked to talk to manager after and I was placed on hold to only have him pick back up again. Getarounds business model is to take a percentage of your rental fees, and then stick you with all of the business expenses including repairs and parking tickets that were incurred during a rental. Theyll act like your partner until something has to be paid for, and it definitely wont be them.I put my car for loan on Getarounds platform for about a year from 2019 to 2020. It's incredible that this company exists and highly unfortunate that it seems to have a monopoly in the tech capital of the world.As a carless citizen of *************, I've been compelled to use their service. When their service works, it's adequate. It's not a great service - I'd give them 3 stars when things go smoothly. Not the most user friendly.
