The staff is friendly and helpful..the food isn't great to patient but they try to keep it healthy ..taking very good care of my mom though so I can't be happier
Unfortunately I'm in kidney failure and have had to be in the hospital a lot over the past 2 year. This is by far one of the worst hospitals I've ever been in! My 1st shift nurse has no clue how to communicate and they ordered my tray late and it took three and a half hours for it to get to my room. There was a lot more things but I'll leave it at that.
This is the best hospital i have been in. The doctors explains the problems in your term and sits down like a visitor and answers your question. Love it
So I'm sitting here listening to my aunt talking to someone on the phone about my other aunt that's in icu right now . they won't let her when the nurse in icu told her to call back in a few minutes after she asked her name to ask my aunt that's in icu if she could give information since she just got transferred back there from a rehab place and we don't have a code so what are we supposed to do ? Not very impressed. My father has been here since Sunday in excruciating pain needing urological surgery and they can't seem to get it scheduled. If they are that busy they should send you somewhere else for care. I find Vanderbilt in Nashville to be much more communicative and professional.
I had ankle fusion surgery on May 18 and my stay and treatment by staff was first class. From check-in through check-out the staff was pleasant and ready to help me anyway they could. Dr. Jessie Doty and and his group are second to none in my opinion. My nurses were always checking on me and asking about my pain level, they weren't about letting me hurt at all.
