Never been to Gatlinburg, tried it on a whim for our 5th wedding anniversary and was LUCKY enough to find a mountain view, corner room at the Edgewater on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!!!. Upon arriving, was graciously greeted by a most wonderful desk staff and to our surprise, a pair of champagne flutes and a personalized note from the staff celebrating our anniversary and welcoming us with warmth and love. My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary. We came to Gatlinburg not planning to stay the whole 3 days in one place. Till we stayed at the Edgewater the staff are so nice, and our room is wonderful!

RecommendedWe checked in on 1-29-16 early and the lady was so nice. She called us when the room was ready. The room was super clean. The mountain view was beautiful. We had one problem with a lot of unsupervised kids running around, yelling, and slamming the doors. The nice lady at the desk moved us up to the 8th floor to get us away from the loud and rude church youth group. The next room was just as clean and nice. that place sucked! when we stayed there, a million dollar makeover looked like a couple of rookies did it!! looked old, bad paint, walls cracked and bugs. you couldnt pay us to stay there again!
