Staff was really nice. The water park is really fun especially for any child. Great view and within walking distance to to the lake with lakeshore paths. Free mini golf, outdoor pool and hot tub. The only complaint is no free continental breakfast. They do have a decent buffet that you need to pay extra for.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the years and this time was a surprise for my nephews!We all had a blast, we ordered pizzas had a couple cocktails at the bar and the kids had a great time at the arcade as well.We will definitely visit again !

The hotel felt dirty all around, to the point where we did not visit the waterpark because if the hotel was that dirty, I couldn't imagine the pool being clean. It was loud and extremely hot. We turned on the A/C, but it did nothing to relieve the heat and was very noisy. There was also a terrible smell. Almost as if someone had thrown up in the vents. We were there this weekend and we had a blast! Everything was clean. We had to bring our dog and first thing she did was pee on the rug.ugh we called the front desk for cleaning supplies and someone came right away and cleaned it. They acted like no big deal as we felt bad. The food by the pool was great no more expensive than anywhere else and was very good! Pizza was excellent!! Everyone was kind friendly and always ready to help. This was our first time and we will be back!!! Thank you guys for making our weekend awesome!
Only issue I had was the folks bringing they're baby babies in the hot tub that was a lil ridiculous nobody said a word but me and when I told a lifeguard he said it's they're baby if it dies it's on them but other then that what a great experience

Waterpark was great! Staff were friendly! Expensive rooms for being very outdated.

We went to check in at 1pm an we couldn't until 4pm even if our rooms were ready an we had 4 kids an they wouldn't even let us use the waterpark! We finally checked in 3 hours later an there were NO elevators in any doorways except the main lobby area which my 36in stroller couldn't even fit in that's not even accessible for a handicap person if it can't fit my stroller! I'm pissed. If the Edgewater is going to support local children's programs, the very least they can do is call the program director to tell them the power is out BEFORE there are 30 kids on a bus in their parking lot, ready to enjoy the waterpark, just to have staff tell them, "I'm sorry you drove out here. We didn't have time to call." A phone call takes 30 seconds!!! You should be giving every single one of those children in the Superior Parks & Rec program a free pass to your waterpark.
