All I can say is do your research and read reviews before you stay somewhere. Anywhere. I wish I would have done that before booking. Overall this place is very overpriced for the state of, condition, and care the employees/gm give to the facility. Paying $300 a night I would have expected a 4-5 star experience. Instead- we found pizza behind our TV. Long black hair all over the pillows. The hallway was covered in laundry lint trailing all the way back to the laundry room. We take each and every review very seriously, especially now that we are in the midst of planning our large scale renovation. My only issue is that I couldn't bring cup cakes for my daughter's birthday. I spent plenty of money ordering pizza and buying pop from the concession stand. I was told to either have the cupcakes in my room or outside. I think this policy should change.

The hotel, waterpark and staff was a great environment. Had 3 adults and 4 kids in a split room (2 of the kids being 4 months old) and they loved it. However, when we got to the room we were getting things unpacked and settled in, I walked between the 2 queen beds and cut my leg open on one of the beds. Went to the front desk and told them and all they offered me was a bandaid and for a staff to come look at the bed. I feel like something else should have been done. But thanks for the bandaid I guess.

Great family getaway for kids! My 4 year old and 1 year old loved the waterpark!! Great value for the amount we paid for an overnight stay with 4 passes and 2 buy one get one free drinks!:) we will go back!
My room was ok! I had to clean up something on bathroom floor cob webs in corner bed needs to be replaced it's lumpy and an outlet that didn't work which resulted in food spoiling! The water park staff needs to chill out they blew there whistle at me for not being in a tube on the lazy river when i was obviously trying to help my son into his tube and hold onto mine so i could get in after helping him. I gave Edgewater 1 star because my kids enjoyed the waterpark, however, we will not be staying there again. The property is tired and rundown. The layout is confusing and like a maze. Our room (although it had a beautiful view of the lake) was disgusting with a terrible smell. The bathroom was gross and dirty (vent was clogged with dust and dirt). Front desk staff was unresponsive to our complaints. It was apparent that management is more focused on Quantity vs quality!

Waterpark is fun for kids, rooms are super run down and ours had bed bugs. Ceiling leaked in the bathroom when the people above us showered. There was candy, wrappers, pencils and other garbage in the kids bunk beds and also bed bugs! We talked to the front desk who then inspected the room, but said it was fine. Son came home with bites all over his legs, that is not fine! Wouldn't recommend staying here!

We come here all the time since we live in town. We always do Tiki Tott Time. We usually enjoy our time spent but yesterday it was extremely over crowded and the water was extremely cold. Not enjoyable at all. Waste of $30
We love coming to the Edge!!! So many fin things for the family to do. Everyone was very friendly with the exception of the lifeguards. Every single one was crabby, never smiled and acted like they didn't want to be there. I would expect them to be friendlier especially since there are so many kids there!
