Made a online purchase on Fed. 25 2020 apparently they were doing some system updates I purchased using Affirm at checkout, money was taken from my checking account and Eddie Bauer have no record of my purchase and is unwilling to make this right. I'm out 150.00

I had an issue with Eddie Bauer and posted about here about it. So the Executive office contacted me as if they were going to resolve the problem. They said they would refund my 2 erroneous orders in full and the shipping on 3rd correct order as a courtesy. I was told to wait 7 to 10 days for refunds. I got the shipping refund almost immediately but nothing on the other 2 orders. I tried to contact the person again over and over and I cannot get to him or anyone at their organization who is helpful. Their customer service is... read more

Eddie Bauer website does not work. They have no customer website support to call. It takes for ever to get to talk to a live person and the ones who do answer the phone can hardly speak english and admit they have no technical support team to help with website problems. All they have is a question/answer sheet to use to answer questions. Whatever happened to the good old Eddie Bauer Company. Now they are an extremely unreliable business.

I bought an Eddie Bauer comforter and within a month, it tore, it seems due to a flaw in the design. I have emailed and sent pictures to Eddie Bauer and the response both times is we are forwarding it to the correct department. I thought Eddie Bauer products were guaranteed, but apparently not. I sewed the tear, but now have another. This comforter has thread lines for decoration and the tears start at the end of the thread lines, probably where there is a weak spot in the material. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Their foreign "customer service" team is completely incompetent, they lie, and if it's not on their script, they can't do anything about it. I have searched and searched for any way to contact someone in the US, but it's impossible. All customer service - phone, email and chat - runs through the Philippines where they can't do anything but stick to a script. I placed an order for pants and socks weeks ago. If you do business with them, don't use your Credit Card. Mine has been hacked by one of their customers because they don't do proper verification of the cardholder. Furthermore, when you contact them, they make promises to correct the issue but, never follow up. If you contact their customer support you'll get some foreigner in (I think India) that 1) is hard to understand, 2) refuses to help unless you make threats and then 3) only get lip service. No matter how good the product or pricing, they are not worth dealing with.

I purchased a Christmas gift at Eddie Bauer.com on December 10th 2019. In order to be sure the item would be received in time for Christmas I paid an extra $10 delivery charge for a total of $59.79. My item did arrive before Christmas but was absolutely huge for an XL. Right after Christmas I started the return process by calling Eddie Bauer. Used to be wonderful but terrible now. Made an order and there were two of the items left. Called 800 # to see if my order could be filled. Automated system said could not process question, call tomorrow. Same thing happened the next day . Sent email to cancel order, was told I could not. No information about when items would be available and no mention of back order. Major issue at holiday time as well. Horrible. Closed my credit account . Terrible
